Is this brown normal?

Looking for some advise/reassurance please! I didn't know where to post.

It’s been 3 weeks and 2 days since I had D&C to remove some stubborn tissue that the pills never dislodged a month before.

14 days ago I did a preggo test and it was nice and negative. But for over 2 weeks now I’ve had brown mucus. No blood, and not loads of it, but it’s still brown, like you get before or after your period for a day.
Is this normal to happen before my cycles start again? Until it goes back to creamy I assume I’m not close to ovulating? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks!! Xx

Hi @Penisbeaker24

Sorry for your loss. I had a MMC in December, when my cycles returned I had the brown blood for 4days before my period each cycle - which was new to me! And awful cramps.

I don’t know whether it’s normal to have it for 2weeks, but I do know that it takes so long for our bodies to get back to normal after losses - my cycle didn’t return for 6weeks (it was driving me insane) however I’ve read lots of other peoples cycles not returning for a lot longer!

Call your GP or EPU for some advice? Sorry I can’t be more help. ❤️❤️

@Milkshake54
Thanks for replying! Sorry you went through the same :(
I'm so happy to say my period has arrived today!
I always have brown before and after period for a couple of days, but I think I was wrong expecting my mucus to go back to white like a normal cycle after my MC was over. Hopefully after this period all will be ok again, I think I didn't appreciate the state of flux I've experienced.

I started bleeding first on feb 18th so this has been a long ass journey!!
Xxx
