Hiya, I started testing my ovulation on cycle day 13 and it was a negative but I also did a test yesterday and the line was really faded and was also a neg. I'm just wondering, would it be possible that I missed my ovulation date? Could it have been earlier and I just tested on the days it was declining?
First pic is cycle day 13 and the second is cycle day 14.
I'm going to carry on doing them because I know lines can fluctuate.

You might just be ovulating later this month. I have very regular cycles but have ovulated as early as CD12 and as late as CD18. You should be testing 2-3 times a day at the moment

@BuffaloCauliflower
Yeah I'm just a tad confused as to why the first one was darker.
I've tested twice today and first one was again darker and the second was faint.
Me and OH have just been dtd most nights anyway so hopefully we'll cover ourselves this month

@Sho2207 your LH can change throughout the day which is why it’s recommended to test 2-3 times a day from day 8 of your cycle (earlier if you have short cycles). You may have caught the end of it if you didn’t test until day 13. It may also just have been lower at that time, was the second one this morning? Have you tested again this afternoon or evening?

Sorry missed that you’d tested twice today. Do start testing earlier in your cycle, but LH can go up and down

@BuffaloCauliflower
Okay hopefully I won't have to worry about testing next month. But if it's the case then I'll start testing earlier, thank you ☺️
