Hi everyone! Sorry I'm new here and probably there is already some topics around this subject.. So apologies in advance.

We've been TTC for about 8 months now.

I did a pregnancy test on the 21st April, 11DPO, I also spotted a really tiny streak of bright red blood in my CM at 7DPO, I've never had that before. And I just can't tell if I'm going crazy or if I see a very faint line... My partner can see it too. I will try to post a pic, I can't see the upload button yet, trying to figure it out >

Could be a chemical pregnancy. Happens when the fertilised egg doesn't implant so pregnancy hormones are released when egg is fertilised but then stop.

As pp said this is likely to be a very early miscarriage also known as a chemical pregnancy. I’m sorry and hope you’re ok. I read an article that said that probably this has been happening for thousands of years but with cheap, sensitive and easily available home pregnancy tests now available women now know that they were pregnant, whereas in our parents time it would have just been a late period with no heartache. So technology is a good and bad thing here. I hope the next one sticks for you.

@popcorndiva Thanks for answering so quick!

I see... I thought HCG was released only after implantation though, but you are saying it could be released as soon as an egg been fertilised?

It's just so confusing all this Confused

@Seventytwoseventythree Thank you. Yea it sucks...

I also had extremely painful period this month, I always do but this time was particularly bad.. I'm wondering if that could be another chemical pregnancy symptom
