TTC post miscarriage. Periods returned then disappeared - why?

First time poster, long time lurker.

I'm 37 and had a missed miscarriage and erpc 4 months ago. Had 2 periods after - all normal. Then nothing. Am now on CD61! Have been TTC - millions of tests taken, including one at doc's - all BFN. Very confusing fertility signs - have noticeable CM pretty much every day. What's happening? Have I stopped ovulating? Is there any chance I could be pregnant? GP says no action to be taken until 3-6 months of no periods

To further confuse matters, I b/feed my 2 year old 1x per day. Could this suddenly be curtailing periods (though conceived very easily when doing this before)?

Can anyone help?
Thanks.

Hi oven chips I really have no experience that can help but feel for you as it does sound very frustrating. I hope somebody out there can help.

Just to update
Am now 13 weeks pregnant Periods returned in November so waited for another one to reassure myself that it wasn't a one-off then was TTC. BFP in January.

Should also say I had gone back to docs to ask for tests and got a pelvic ultrasound and blood tests (testing LH and FSH among many other things): nothing to report. Also weaned daughter in October.

Who knows why things came good but they did. It would be nice to think this might help to reassure anyone with a similar problem if they're looking through archives and come across this old message!
