Today I am 23 weeks pregnant and am trying to work out when I conceived, I have tried all of the conception apps but they all give me a different range of dates. I have had 2 scans which I assume were taken from my LMP but I’m not too sure when that was? The doctors have told me it was the 13th of November but is there any way to be sure?? It could have been anywhere from the 10th to the (20th so just looking for a bit of advice as I think my due date, the 19th of August may be wrong.. this is my first baby so am looking for a bit of advice ☺️ If last had sex on the 16th of November with my LMP and due date could this have led to conception?? Thanks x

The doctors won’t have been able to tell you when your LMP was, they can’t possibly know that unless you tell them. What did you tell them when you first booked in?

The scans you’ve had now will have given your estimated due date, so LMP also matters less now. They’re measuring you to get that date. Why does date of conception matter so much?

I was on the pill which is why I am a bit confused as the only time I have a break from the pill is to have a period then straight back on it again for 21 days of the month. I told them I could not remember my LMP and then they have put it down to the 13th.

This is why I am wondering if the conception date would make it any easier for me to be able to understand for myself why my due date is what it is

Your due date is more a due month anyway, the chances of your baby coming on the day given are tiny. Better just to view it as baby is coming in August and be done with it

That wasn’t really my reason for posting, it was to gain more of an understanding. Thanks anyway.

I’m not sure I understand your question then? Does it matter what day you conceived?
