Hey all, sorry I've been away for a bit. Still trying to digest what happened. Meanwhile I've been trykng to find out how long hcg can stay raised after a miscarriage, as it's been 5.5 weeks now and had a negative hcg test two weeks ago, but this morning I got this... No idea what to think, reading a lot about lingering hcg etc after such things...

@ArjaD is there a chance you could be pregnant again?
I know someone that got pregnant straight away after mmc and it was more/less same length as you...

Well it's possible, but I have no idea if I ovulated or anything. Just think it may be lingering hormones still.

@Lilliloo29 awww... well on to next cycle. I'm on tww now, but don't have much hopes as my hubs has the issue and it could not happen ever in a natural way.

@ArjaD well... if you say you did another one previously and was stark white.. that is what confuses me. Maybe wait a few days and test again? When is af due? Xx

@Sungirl11 the frustration is that I have no handle on my cycle yet as I bled for two weeks after miscarriage, and not a clue when my body will return to a state of normal... guess all I can do is stay off the booze from here on and wait and see. My gut says it's just hormones left over but who knows... How are you doing? Xxx

Hi ladies how has everyone been? Af is 5 days late and neg tests again so feeling all over the place had Af cramps for 5 days but nowhere to be seen!

Hubs has sperm test booked for 18th here in UK and then i wish we get transferred to infertility team and start moving stuff.

I've had my lab sick, Saturday he was completely fine and then he collapsed and had a seizure due to a strong colic pain (i was on my own and thought he was dying in my hands) i have been reeaaally anxious since. He is still a bit sick and i just suffer thinking he is going to collapse again. 🙈
So tbh i'm more focused in him than anything else atm.
Also might loose my job this week so yay happy days huh? 🙃

@NicoleR14 i hope it doesn't play you up again, do you know if you have polycystic ovary syndrome?
Had to google the translation from Spanish. I have various friends with it and they don't have periods because they don't ovulate or anything. So they need treatment. It's really common.

Hi @sungirl11 I haven't actually been diagnosed with pcos they won't look at me until the year unfortunately 😪but I have been trying to loose some weight to see if it makes a difference but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have! How have you been?

I took another test this morning and it was negative. So it's confusing but I think it's right. No period now since the miscarriage 5.5 weeks ago so we can only wait till the body decides to work properly again.
You OK @NicoleR14? I'll still buy you that cuppa if you fancy. What a rollercoaster x

@ArjaD I'm doing OK I'm sick looking at these tbh I'm starting to think there's something wrong with me I just can't fall pregnant I'd absolutely love that I'm in Aberdeen atm but when I get back I'd love to meet up for a chat and a cuppa ❤️ how have you been getting on?

@NicoleR14 omg of all places!! Can you still get out of Aberdeen now that it's been locked down again? I know it's so hard to take huh, and then even when it does work it can still be a rollercoaster 😔 Let's do that cuppa ASAP xx

@NicoleR14 it's just so bad how it works... it shouldn't all be about waiting! I don't believe a little check to make sure everything is ok is such a big thing to do! Maybe you do have PCOS and here you are waisting your time and going mental for no reason instead of being treated and moving forward... it's horrible how badly it works.

@ArjaD my lab is better... he gave me such an awful weekend... i am now 9dpo and my boobs are reeeeally sore and i had some brown spotting... i think it's all the nerves i'm going through with everything... which don't help at all for ttc.

Hope you are both ok! Weekend approaching so a glass of fizz won't do any harm 😌

@Sungirl11 you said it! We've got a bottle of Prosecco cooling as it's our 4th wedding anniversary today, so that will be opened very soon. Hope you can relax a bit, always easier than said huh. I got a negative pregnancy test yesterday, after that previous positive. Then I took another one today and it was positive again 🤦‍♀️ so my hormones are still all over the place after the miscarriage. I'm so blubbery just now as well, crying over nothing.

Hormones have you everywhere... and how crazy this positive/negative testing... haven't they done a blood test to make sure your hormone is going down? I know that is done in Spain always... but no clue here.
Just enjoy tonight! You both deserve it!! ♥️♥️

@Sungirl11 I'm so sorry about your lab that's awful I'm so glad he's better. Hubby was supposed to do the sperm check but they've put him off for a while from the covid so annoying. I'm 7dpo but Im completely over early testing, or even testing at all every month it's the same thing we all know how it is. Draining. @NicoleR14 sorry you're having dramas again I hope af turns up sooner rather than later for you and you don't have to go through all that again. Xxx

Hey all, how's everyone? I phoned the doctor yesterday as I got two positive tests again. She said the hormones should be out of my system by now, but too test again mid next week and of it's still positive to phone her back. Nobody is interested in blood tests it seems.

@ArjaD i do think too that it's been quite a bit to still have positives. I just don't get why this "journey" is such a pain for doctors!
A few more days and hopefully someone will do something... keep us updated.
@Bbutterfly my hubs finally has his on the 18th. Have you insisted? I did have to call a billion times here/there as communication was a disaster, and in the end i sorted it out.

I have been spotting for three days now... brown discharge and this morning a wee of pink, but again brown... i'm 11dpo today... i don't know if it's af or what it is... i always have a bit of brown discharge 1-2 days before i bleed fully but it's now 3 days with this. Also really early as it started only 9dpo.
My friend insists it could be implantation, but i am just so scared to get a bit of hope for nothing that i can't believe it's that 🙈🙈
Haven't even tested waiting for af to come fully 🤪🥴

12dpo today, no signs of af (no symptoms at all), temperature has gone down but i am sleeping really bad... spotting tinywiny brown (not even enough for a small pad) since 9dpo...
I have 1ClearBlue so i have 1Shot... not sure if i want to use it or wait 🙆🏻‍♀️

I'd say don't @Sungirl11 , clearblue are not very sensitive despite what they say. I'd say if you can't help yourself, get A frer to be sure!! Fingers crossed 🤞 🤞 🤞 🤞 🤞

Hi everyone, how are you all doing? Just an update as last week I went to hospital, got a checkup after the miscarriage and they said although the hormone should be out of my system by now, it seems to be going down much slower Than usual, hence the positive tests. I did get a period in the mean time though so I'm glad at least myy cycle is starting up again.

I had a 2 day period with the previous 4day tiny brown spotting 🙆🏻‍♀️
I think lockdown is just playing games with me now... i have been very stressed and since my dog had the seizure i have been a bit anxious, so i guess it all affects.
My hub had his sperm test yesterday... guess what? Our GP have him the wrong container so the hospital didn't accept it!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
He has to go back on the 9th of September.
How can it work so badly? I don't get it.

@Sungirl11 oh ffs you're joking! What is wrong with the health care sector 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ yeah stress does odd things to the body. Nobody seems to be feeling normal just now 😒 I have another checkup on Monday but I've started to test for ovulation again so here's hoping I actually ovulate again this cycle. Hubby is home till end of October now so we at least have a couple of cycles to try again before he sails off.
