Hi all, I sadly had a miscarriage on 17 March at 6+2. I took two First response at 10 and 14 days after the miscarriage which were totally negative. I have felt a bit 'weird' yesterday and today and AF didn't arrive yesterday (although expected that to be knocked around a bit obviously).

I've just taken an internet cheapie and there is a second line? It's faint but pink, could this be right?!? It took us 18 months to get our first BFP so can't really believe it!

You tend to be more fertile after a miscarriage, so that has probably helped x

My best friend got pregnant the month after a miscarriage at 9weeks. She never had another period, baby born totally healthy just over 11months after the first time she tested positive with the first pregnancy. I think it’s quite common because of how fertile you are after an mc. Congratulations and good luck!

Everything crossed for you that this is the beginning of positives tests for a successful pregnancy. I miscarried on 4th October 2019 and got q positive text 5th November 2019, now 26+5weeks. Good luck Flowers

Not unusual - I was pg twice between October and December 1991 and DD3 was born 10 months after a mc in 1997.

Best wishes, and commiserations on the mc.

Thanks for all your positive stories! I took FRER tonight and it was unmistakable, we are completely thrilled, but quite scared because of what happened last time.

Going to try to be as positive as possible and enjoy it

Yes DD2 was a BFP 8 weeks after my miscarriage - she is 15 now.
