Egg white after ovulation?

Does anyone else only get egg white after they ovulate?

I have positive (or closer to positive) OV tests on CD10, then usually start to get egg white on day 13 for a few days (and nearly blank OV tests).

Googling hasn't enlightened me at all, so I'd love to know if anyone has any wisdom on this.

Also, think my test was faulty given the dye distribution, but would you count this as a positive OV test?

It's unusual to get ewcm immediately after ovulation but common to get it mid way through TWW. The last day of EWCM is usually the day you ovulate and I would retake your tests as I would say that one is faulty due to the dye run.

This cycle I presumed I ovulated CD13 (but didn't do OPKs this cycle) but got 4 more extra days of EWCM up to CD17 and I usually only get it for 2 days so who knows!

Good luck figuring out when you ovulated too - it's so difficult sometimes! My periods have only recently come back after breastfeeding and they are completely different to pre-pregnancy.

About halfway through TWW you will have a 2nd estrogen surge which can cause a day of Ewcm. Usually 7DPO. Any other time I think is uncommon. Good luck!
