I ovulated on the 7th, we tried to have sex that night but unfortunately it didn’t happen. We had a miscarriage in November. Is there any chance we might conceive this month? Or have we blown our chance by not having sex on the 7th?

@Haribo19 sorry to hear about your mc 💓 It says on your calendar you DTD a couple of days before ovulation so yes you are still in with a chance, sperm can live inside for up to 5 days! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏽

Okies, that’s given me a sense of hope, thank you 😊 x

I have read that actually sperm should be waiting for the egg. So sex prior to ovulation (on the 5th for you) is perfect!
Fingers crossed 🤞🏽 x

Are you sure you ovulated on the 7th or was that just an app prediction? Bear in mind sperm needs to be there for when the egg arrives so if you ovulated during the day of the 7th and only DTD that night then that would most likely have been too late already. So try and have sex in the run up to your ovulation day as well - your DTD on the 5th means you're in with more of a shot than the 8th so fingers crossed for you 🤞

Juno231 - I took clear blue ovulation tests from my first fertile window and it was Positive on the 7th x

If your positive opk was on the 7th you probably ovulated on the 8th.

I measure my bbt and I do ovulate on the same day as my positive opk but I don't think that's usual.

Sorry about your mc too ❤️
