Brown bleed

Hi all!
New here :) any advice welcomed!!
I came off the pill 4 months ago and I have had three 28 day regular cycles since. This month I had a 2 day brown bleed 3 days before my period was due. I then had a little bleeding on wiping on the day my period was due and then nothing after that. I'm now approximately 15dpo and have had sore boobs and cramps down there and in my legs plus metal tasting mouth but only getting BFNs.

Do we think the brown bleed was a weird period? Do we think I would have had a BFP by now? But then why the preg. symptoms? (which by the way i never have had before ever??!

Eurgh so confused! I have cramping as I type! Thanks in advance all!!

The brown bleed usually means it could be implantation bleeding or your body getting rid of old period. I have had it today and I have cramping in lower belly and back which could be stretching of muscles getting ready for pregnancy. Other than that, like me do a pregnancy test when period is due. Good luck.

I also had cramp in my left upper leg near groin and I was limping a bit

@Alicew00 Thanks! I did a test 3 days after my period was supposedly due and it was negative so I suppose I am out. Just weird I never got a proper period even if it was getting rid of the old blood. Also had a normal flow the month before, how can there be more old stuff still there haha!

Brown blood is usually old blood

The tops of my legs have also been achy!! I out this down to a run I did but my legs never usually ache. God knows what's going on!

@DullPortraits Thanks! I've never had it before just seems odd. Maybe my body is still adjusting post pill but wouldnt I then still get the red stuff as well?!

Could be your body readjusting & having a good clear out x
