Anovulatory cycle?

Hi everyone,

First time poster and 2nd cycle TTC here!

I am coming to the end of AF after first cycle TTC. Normally I have a 31/32 day cycle however on my first cycle of tracking it was 35 days long with a super light period. My BBT was very erratic. Fertility friend seems to think I ovulated on CD21 but I’m not sure, it’s not that clear (that also seems quite late?)

I had a little CM on that day but less than I have noticed when not tracking my cycle in the past.

I’ve added my BBT chart - can anyone help me interpret it? I want to make sure we’re DTD at the right time this month!

😀

Anovulatory cycle?

Hey op! If you did ovulate on CD21 that would be perfectly normal of a 34 day cycle. However looking at your temps there is nothing there that I can see that would confirm ovulation I'm sorry...

You need to have at least 3 consecutive days of Increased temps after ovulation (not going up and down) and you didn't have that. Your temps in your luteal phase seem to be very erratic and not consistent with what you would see.

I would say this was an anovulatory cycle for sure. Have you been doing OPKs?

Just to add, have you done a pregnancy test to rule that out?

Beau20 · 06/04/2020 10:09

Sorry one last thing, when are you taking your temps because your chat says you are taking them at different times each day?

LuckyFlash · 06/04/2020 11:40

Thanks I thought that was the case. Not done a pregnancy test as AF has come.

I’ve been doing the temps as soon as I wake up so most of the time that’s when my alarm goes but if I wake up before the alarm then I’ll do it then and sometimes on weekends I have slept a little longer (but only half an hour/and hour so didn’t think it mattered). Should I wait if I wake early?

I would try and do the temps as close to the same time every single day. You said your last period was light, it may be with doing a test just to be sure. I'm on another thread and a girl had a normal period and turned out she was pregnant.
