Ovulation help tmi

Hi

This is my first post ttc #1.

So I am using OPKs for the first time and I have now got flashing smiley for the 8th day in a row (this with fmu). My cycles are usually 28-30 days long.

Yesterday at around 11pm i had spotting with ewcm but I this morning I still have a flashing smiley and no solid peak (day 8). I only have one more stick left to use tomorrow morning and I am worrying if I am not ovulating or have missed my peak. I have ordered more sticks but won't arrive until Monday.
Anyone had this happen to them? :(

Can't help with the smiley face but would be helpful to know what cycle day you're on now? I'd also advise just carrying on with DTD to avoid missing ovulation in case it happens after you've used up your last stick!

@fertility1 hey, I have been using advanced CBD for three months, I normally always ovulate on cd 18 so I get three days of flashing ish then static.... this month I started testing in cd12 and have only just got my positive today! Cd33,

@Fertility1 32 days! Not this month though! I normally always ovulate exactly 14dpo so I would imagine a 46 day one this month!!

Have you got any cheap opks I ran out of digital too in the middle and used cheap opks to keep checking

Have you always used first morning urine with them? If you have used later it can mean you get more flashing. Each time you do it you set a new baseline for the LH on the holder

Btw I have found these work very well when used correctly. They've got me pregnant 3 times very quickly

I’m also a bit confused with these tests. First time using them, I’m on CD16 of a 28 day cycle and I’ve just had my 5th flashing smiley face but no peak yet. I’ve totally convinced myself it’s not going to come now 😔

@macaz20 honestly don't worry it might just be late like mine, a while ago I went three months without a period or ovulating I was convinced that was happening again, but ovulated this month on day my period was due!

It could just be all this stress x

@AnxiousAnnie86 I hope so, I was literally just so disappointed this morning but will keep trying with them. Thanks for giving me a bit of hope ☺️ And yeah maybe I just ovulate late or something I suppose that’s the reason why I’m taking the test x

@fertility1 double check the instructions but all my OPKs have specified not to use FMU?

Definitely says to use fmu.
Clear blue dual hormone 4 or more days...

@Fertility1 @Juno231 most do say that but I think because it measures a baseline and looks for an increase from that you are to use the fmu
I think as it gives an accurate reading with it not being diluted or different times of the day.

I think I got ewcm three days before my static this month and last month x

@Fertility1 I’m in the same boat as you I think, I had EWCM CD13/14 and yet I’m still getting flashing faces on CD16 we’ve been DTD anyway just incase but I was so disappointed this morning with another flashing face. So confused x

100% makes you think that. Hope you get the static soon too. How long is your cycle? Mines normally 28 days x

So update... according to my app, I am due my period today, no period and got a BFN today :(. I think I'm around 13DPO. I have had white cm the past week and ewcm yesterday. Don't know whats happening...really want a bfp
