Fever of 37.6 sign of pregnancy?

Last night I came over feeling generally terrible... chills and fever, aches and pains. I also felt sick. I took my temp it was 37.6. My period is due today or tomorrow and we had a contraception mishap a couple of weeks ago so I'm panicking a bit! I've got my two children at home with me so can't even go out and get a test :( Has anyone had a temp as high as 37.6 as a sign of pregnancy or is this more likely an illness?

Illness. Over 37.5 is a low grade temp and you should now be isolating.

Thanks. I've been so worried. I'm hoping it's illness my period comes. The guidelines for self isolating are a temp over 37.8 though aren't they? We have self isolated for 2 weeks anyway as my daughter had a temp of 38.

It is any temperature, not just over 38.

In the very early days they mentioned 38 but it changed some time ago
