TTC after Depo

My Depo injection is due to run out today (1st of April ) and we are wanting to try for our 2nd child. I am 20 and have only had one injection and was wondering how long it should take me to ovulate again and hopefully get pregnant?

Hi! Exciting news that your going TTC! I had the depo for nearly 2 years and it took us a year to concieve (bizarrely we concieved exactly a year to the date of when my injection ran out!!). This was because of the lag effect of the depo as my cycle returned to normal pretty quick but still had the depo floating in my body. As you've only had 1 injection hopefully you'll concieve quickly! Good luck, such an exciting time for you x
