What does implantation bleed look like?

Has anybody had implantation bleed before? What does it look like?
Been ttc for 4 months when i came off my mini pill, never had any spotting between periods until now.
I have 24 day cycles and spotting started cd18 for 2 days.
Would really appreciate any similar stories you have. :)

Mine was pale pink spotting between 9 and 12(ish) DPO.. BFP 11DPO (the pregnancy ended up in a missed miscarriage but don't think there's any relation!)

Beebee8 · 31/03/2020 19:02

Oh and I have 25 day cycles!

xxlannixx · 31/03/2020 19:25

Thanks for the response @Beebee8.
Sorry to hear about your MM. I usually use ovulation strips but didnt this month as i was getting obsessed with the bloody things.
Just strange that i have never had it before. Mine was pink and very light. Af due Friday so only time will tell.

Ahh yes I know what you mean, I only really used them for a month or 2 but managed to get obsessed very quickly.. Which in turn meant I also did a million pregnancy tests after my initial BFP (pointless, don't go down that rabbit hole!)

Keeping everything crossed that this month is the one for you! Smile

xxlannixx · 31/03/2020 19:40

Hahah im glad im not the only one. I have gone for a more relaxed month not stressing but when this spotting appeared i instantly went into over think mode. Are you TTC?

Being relaxed is definitely the best approach!

I'm in limbo right now, the surgery for my MMC was only just over 2 weeks ago so will at least wait for my period to return before trying again. However I'm in 2 minds with the current pandemic Confused not to put you off, I'm just a major worrier!

xxlannixx · 31/03/2020 20:07

Being in limbo makes the days so slow doesnt it?
I het what you mean about the pandemic. Me and my partner had the conversations about whether to put a hold on our ttc journey but we are both fortunate to have careers that are secure. Just hoping that when i do fall pregnant the light is at the end of the tunnel with this horrendous virus.
Your not a worrier you just responsibly assessing the situation.

Yes the days really are going slow! But then the days went slow in the TWW and even slower when I found out I was pregnant haha, I am the most impatient person!

It's all down to each individual couple and I'm sure you'll be fine whatever happens, as much as I was worried at the time I'd take that over the loss any day! I'm sure I'll be back to TTC very soon

Is this your first you're trying for?

xxlannixx · 31/03/2020 20:19

Aww you will have your time. Its hard when you just want it to happen. Sounds like you have had an emotional time and deserve your happy ending.
No I have a nearly 9 year old daughter. I thought i was done and happy with the one and then the past year i realised i am ready for a second.
It took me 6 months of TTC then and i was only 19 so ki d of expecting it to take longer this time.
Have you got any children?

Mine was like a short period over 2 days, more than spotting. I actually assumed it was my period until I started feeling sick every morning a few weeks later and discovered I was 6 weeks pregnant

Beebee8 · 31/03/2020 20:29

Thank you ❤️ this was my first pregnancy. Turned 30 last year so I know I still have time on my side, I would just like a crystal ball lol

Ahh well I'll keep fingers crossed extra tight then because I bet your daughter would be over moon to have a sibling! Just realised if you are pregnant it could be a Christmas baby! 🎅🎉

xxlannixx · 01/04/2020 12:33

@user1493413286 blimey, i bet that was a nice surprise for you. I normally have really heavy periods so i knew that what i had last week wasnt AF showing up.

@Beebee8 Yeah, your in your prime... im 30 next year so age is one thing i dont have to worry about thankfully.
My daughter would love nothing more bless her.
This is my second day of having a watery mouth which makes me feel sick. Tmi but my dischage has turned watery and very egg white like ovulation. Strange with short periods as flo app is saying im only 6dpo but that means when AF is due i will only be 8dpo?!

Hmm not sure if I've misunderstood something but with a 24 day cycle you should ovulate on CD10 right? What CD are you now, 20 something? I'm not sure about the flo app I was using clue which matched the OPKs I did exactly!

xxlannixx · 01/04/2020 13:57

Im CD22. The flo app is saying my ovulation date would be 26th march (cd16) because i haven't used OPK's this mo th i dont know whem i actually ovulated. How confusing but im with you and thought i would ovulate around cd10/12.

Update... i have terrible nausea today. Took a test... Negative although i think it may be soon.

Peanut55 · 01/04/2020 18:45

My implantation bleeding was on 12dpo, I was literally a tiny bit of pink when I wiped.

I tracked my temp so knew exactly when I had ovulated. I was on holiday so didn't actually test until 21dpo.

xxlannixx · 01/04/2020 19:48

@Peanut55 thanks for your reply.
I just wish i knew what date i ovulated so i have a rough idea.

OP posts:
Peanut55 · 01/04/2020 21:14

@xxlannixx have you thought about temping?

xxlannixx · 02/04/2020 10:48

@Peanut55 Im trying not to and have stopped ovulation testing as it was taking over my life. I have hot flashes and Nausea today and yesterday which I dont normally have. Only time will tell.
