Hi everyone. My period was due March 19th and has been late before but last few months regular so decided to test to rule out a pregnancy. I have done two cheap tests and one in water to check it’s not a bad batch.

Both faint lines within a min or two. Followed the tests to the letter on how to do them. I don’t feel pregnant and I know these lines are not that if someone who is supposed nealry 6 weeks pregnant they would be darker. Is it possible this are false? Or I ovulated later and what I considered to be the safe zone wasn’t and it’s just early?

I cannot have any more children. I don’t know what to do next or if go even worry about these lines . I don’t think they are Evaps as the result showed within the time scale

Please help. Faint lines ? Not planned

You are pregnant.

Glitterzzz · 31/03/2020 11:32

The lines were there within 2 mins id day but I have had many pregnancies before and I know my body which is why I just don’t know what to feel / think about this. Are false positives a thing

False positives are very rare, two is extremely unlikely.

Glitterzzz · 31/03/2020 11:44

Sorry to sound dumb, but would you agree these are strong enough to be considered positives then ?

Yes. These tests usually only show faintly. Get a more expensive test, first response. I'm sure you will have a blazing positive!

BlackandWhiteCat0 · 31/03/2020 12:42

Those are definitely positive OP and look normal

pooopypants · 31/03/2020 13:02

Even a faint positive is a positive. They're definitely both positive

calimommy · 01/04/2020 04:59

OP they are positive but I doubt you are 6 weeks. They would be darker if you were.

If you need to talk about options with someone I think you should make an appointment as soon as you can and find out exactly where you stand. X

Thanks everyone. No they were FALSE. I literally got my period a couple hours after taking that tests and looking up the reviews on the product it was full of women saying they also had weak faint positives that were false. Thank god in my case

I would say it's possibly a chemical pregnancy, as someone said they are both positive and two false positives would be very rare. HCG is showing up you, a low amount perhaps it's now possibly ended in a chemical.

BuffaloCauliflower · 04/04/2020 08:05

Could well be a chemical. They look like my 10DPO one steps and I’m 7+3 now
