How long does temp drop before af?

I checked my temp before and it dropped to 35.8 then i checked 1 minute later and it started going back up to 36.7. I know this is not bbt.

I meant how long does it stay dropped for?

You're not supposed to temp throughout the day... no wonder it's going up and down!

You are only supposed to take your temp once first thing AM before you even get out of bed. Any other time and your temp will be wrong.

Everyone is different, some peoples temp doesn't drop until the day of AF, others a day before. Mine slowly drops over 5 days.

Ditto to pp- also can vary if you take it orally if your mouth is open etc. If you got a big change in a few mins and it was first thing and you were still in bed and had done nothing else then maybe scratch it as abnormal and see what tomorrow brings?

But in general I think you tend to start AF pretty close to a drop in bbt (a day or two) but best way to tell is to compare previous months to see if you have a trend specific to you x
