(first time posting so bare with me) So back story: I am not TTC but we want to start trying in a month but we use the withdrawal method as we would be happy if it happened sooner. In February I took a pregnancy test a few days before my period was due (out of habit) and we thought there was a faint positive but then my period started 2 days later so presumed it must have been an evaporation line. Anyway I am now on day 44 of this cycle and no signs of a period! This has never happened before- cycles have ALWAYS been 28-33 days. I don't feel partially stressed or anything so I'm so confused! I've taken a pregnancy test which is defo negative and tbh me and my partner haven't had time to have quality time together this month anyway haha. Could I have been pregnant and had a very early miscarriage or is this just a normal thing to happen? Help! (I'm 24 btw)

If you are 44d in and have a negative test it's unlikely you are pregnant, but very rarely some women don't get positive tests. Have you had any other symptoms?

Other things can mess up your cycle- have you just come off hormonal contraception before trying the withdrawal method? Have you been ill or stressed? Sometimes people randomly don't ovulate for a month too. If you are worried you could try contacting your gp for advice too x

I think it is possible you had a chemical pregnancy last month, I had one a few cycles ago and my next period was also really late and then was really light and only lasted a few days which isn't normal for me. I was back to normal the following month though. Hope that helps x
