Complex IUD removal

Hello all, apologies if this is the wrong place to ask. I had a IUD copper coil fitted in 2017 and tried to have it removed on the NHS late last year as my partner and I were ready to start trying to conceive for our first child. Unfortunately the threads are not visible and I have to be referred to a specialist clinic as its seen as a complex removal. I’d been waiting for an appointment and now in the current pandemic I’ve been advised I’m unlikely to get an appointment on the NHS this year! I’m 35 in a few months and I’m really panicking as we are desperate to start trying. I’ve paid privately for the scans so I know where the coil is and where the strings are. But I can’t find anyone privately to do a complex removal for less than £600 which I think is ridiculous. Any one have any similar experience or know of anywhere in London or nearby (willing to travel) that does complex removals for under £300? Thanks in advance!
