OPK interpretation

Hello, I’m new to using OPKs and was wondering about how to interpret. I know the test line needs to be dark and not faint. I have an app that lets you upload a pictures and tries to interpret them and gives you a reading of low (0-9), high (10-79), and peak (80-200). I tested last night close to midnight and the reading showed 63. Today I tested and it showed a reading of 68. Does this mean I’m about to peak in the next few days? Not sure how to add pics to this post for opinion on the tests. Should we being doing the deed now since I’m in the high category but not the peak? I haven’t really noticed an increase in CM like I’ve read you’re supposed to. Thanks for your help!

Not much help as I'm still learning how to use them as well. But with my last baby using my app It gave me a n estimate of when I would ovulate so I had sex day before ovulation everyday past the day on my last estimated ovulation day. I implanted 2days later. Not much help but couldn't be asked with the fiddly OPK's and stuff. Sorry not much help I know xx

@sandyn89 thanks for your reply! I’m also using a few apps that have estimated an ovulation date. I’ve just started tracking things since my cycle isn’t always regular. Im a night shift nurse so that puts a little damper on trying to “schedule” when to have sex. This month my husband and I have been trying to do the deed about every two days. Fingers crossed!! :)

Aww bless you, I know it's not easy. Being tired and work but try having sex everyday and try not to think about the reason why your having sex. It just puts more pressure on both of you. Me and my husband chose to forget why we were having sex and just did it everyday tmi sorry.

With Opk's the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the test line, anything fainter that is not a positive.

You maybe able to see the line progressing, as you surge ready to ovulate, i use to test on waking and around mid afternoon.

@cookielove thanks! I just started using them. I thought it was almost as dark as the control line, but maybe not quite as dark. Maybe my surge is coming up. Based on my apps that estimate the date it should be coming soon!

If it feels like it is almost there just keep testing!

I think it takes a few days for you to be able to post pictures if you are new! Just look for the paperclip under the text box.
