Scan at 5 weeks

I have a scan tomorrow first thing at 5 weeks pregnant, for a variety of reasons that my GP and the consultant Obstetrician thought worthy - my question is though, what exactly would they expect to see at five weeks?

I had a transvaginal scan at 5 weeks because they were concerned DD was ectopic - baby was too small to see, and no foetal pole/heartbeat, but they could see the yolk sac so they knew she was in the right place.
