Can a UTI cause false positives?

Hi!
I am 9/10 dpo today according to my app, I took a clearblue 6 days early test today as I thought I saw something on a one step strip. I felt like I could see a super faint line and now 2 hours later it has dried very visible. But I was wondering if a uti can cause a false positive or if this is just an evap? I have attached photos of the test within the timeframe and one of it now it has dried. Any advice would be so helpful! X

I can't see a line there. Test again in a few days!

Can’t see anything

Beau20 · 27/03/2020 14:59

I'm sorry but I think that is an evap, blue dye tests are notorious for it. Try a different test in a few days

Here's a clearer picture of it now. But I'm definitely thinking it's an evap! X

When your period due?

Spri3 · 27/03/2020 15:38

4-5 days time. But I do have PCOS so it can vary

As it has no colour I'd say it was an evap. I would test again in a few days

Honestly I’d just wait and do it when your period is late. You’ll save a lot of heartache!

I can see a line. I used these with my previous pregnanies and lines were always faint. Aslong as you looked at it in recommended time frame then you most probably are pregnant

My wondfo strip today, feel like I can see something but OH can't. Waiting for some FRER to be delivered 🤞

Sorry OP, I can't see anything at all on that one...

The internet cheap tests aren't very sensitive at all so maybe you'll get something on a FRER
