Why the negative test?

Hi everyone I am two dates late for my period and I have a negative pregnancy test
My OH and I have been ttc for 11 months now and the last we dtd was on cd13 with a positive opk. Surely at 13dpo a positive pregnancy test would have come up by now? Anyone had a late bfp?

It’s a good sign that you 2 days late, maybe try in a couple of days as you may still be early x
