Hi just joined and first time posting. Recently decided to try for baby #2 ( tracked ovulation by flo app and ovulation stick tests this month and did the deed on days indicated) came off pill in December since then I’ve always had my period on the 19th for 5-6 days and always medium heavy flow. My flow has always been on the heavier side.
This month however I came on 2 days early on the 17th with light/spotting brown and light red blood. And was extremely moody/irritated with non painful cramps, on the 3rd day however I had a higher amount of red blood also noticed a slight clot and all symptoms vanished. After that though it’s been the same brown spotting/discharge stopping and starting with light amounts of red blood in between. I’m now on day 6 but today has just been little bits of brown spotting no blood so far.
This is unusual for me as I’ve always had heavyish periods with consistent flow throughout and maybe a little bit of brown blood on the last day when coming off but this months is different.
I thought it could’ve been implantation but the bits of red bleeding seemed too much for that & I’ve done 2 tests a day apart, the first was negative and second negative although I was sure for a slight minute I saw a faint line before it disappeared.
Is this normal, has anyone experienced this or could it be something else? I’m thinking it’s wishful thinking to be anything more than an odd period.
