Think I’m pregnant - what now?

My cycle is normally 26 and I’m on 30 days. Taken a test which I think is positive (Asda test). If it is positive - yay! And if so what do I do next? Do I go to a Dr to confirm? Not sure I should be at the moment?
Would attach a pic but don’t think I can as I’m new.

Doctors won’t confirm normally- they don’t perform pregnancy tests for this reason.
Nothing they will do for you now... when you are about 6 weeks i would register online with your maternity to get your midwife appointment and scans scheduled etc...
Also probably would get more info in pregnancy section :)
Congrats!!!!

I would call your gp and ask them what their protcol is, each area is different!!

Type in midwife self referral & your area into Google. If it's available it will come up. Your midwife will then contact you for a booking appointment usually completely between 8-12 weeks. In the mean time take vit d and folic acid - there is a combined one in boots. Or a vitamin like pregnacare. If you struggle with sickness try the travel sickness bands they help a lot of people.

I'm 22 weeks and saw a midwife for my first appointment at 10 weeks. All you can really do for now is sit tight and self isolate if possible. Being pregnant during this time is REALLY stressful. I've had an email saying no partner allowed at scans or appointments, my gp is closed and I've not heard from my midwife.
Hopefully when you're further along things will have settled down by then.

What everyone else has said and don't forget to take your folic acid and check all the stuff you now can't eat or do!
