Anyone else AF late.....4 days and counting

I'm beginning to think that my AF is too scared to come out due to the pandemic!!
because despite being 4 days late and still getting negative PG tests, she ain't showing her face at all !!

Obviously I'm not stupid enough to be calling a doctor and asking for blood test cause in the current climate that would be really fucking selfish.

Anyone else want a rant about being frustrated about pretty much everything that is remotely related to TTC!

Obviously I've mentioned the seeded covid in my first sentence but hopefully if anyone does reply it won't be a comment related to the Covid as I've had my fill, I'm a front line public service who will be going in to work on Friday to deal with folk without being given any sort of protection, so I can't be arsed with folk who are running about like headless chickens about running out of loo roll 🤣🤣

So help me with this conundrum, I'm 15DPO, 4 days late and tested BFN so far 🤷‍♀️ anyone in the same boat ?

Yes yes yes. Was supposed to start Af on cycle day 31 and now I’m on cycle day 35! 4 days late, did my past test day before yesterday and it was negative and the few before that were too. Plus I think I got an evap on a clear blue. Really don’t wanna test again, and its making me second guess any symptoms I had before.. i have historically had a period after 37 days but i normally have cramps and a little spotting.. this time I’m all clear 👀 no pain nothing totally normal.

It is selfish to go to a gp over it and also risky being around any sick people in a gp surgery.. really dont know what to do.

I might wait till Saturday sunday as ive read some people dont get a positive test until their a week late.. but im scared about ectopic pregnancies and things. And then this morning i had a vivid dream about having a baby!

Omg this is me right now! 3 days late (I'm never late) but all tests are negative! I'm feeling permanently nauseous but that could the result of so many things right now. How long should we be waiting between tests? This is so stressful :(

I had to stop myself telling my hubby to pick up a PF year while he's at the shop picking up some cat litter 🤣🤣

He would actually to mental if he knew that I've always taken 4 FRER tests in the past week or so !!

Now usually the advice is to take another test a couple of days later....but seriously who the hell am I kidding, I've went and bought 40 ( yep 40 ) of the little cheap test strips off amazon, I've been testing every day !

I'm at the point now where I don't feel pregnant at all, no symptoms, boobs still feel normal and still look normal ( well as normal as they can after breast feeding my daughter) and other than the fact that I have no AF there is bugger all wrong with me.

I am most definitely at the stage where i want AF so I can get dancing with the hubby to try again ! Since we'll be limiting our social contact anyway 🤣🤣

Exactly! At the stage where I don’t even feel pregnant and secretly hoping its one of those bfps that normal people have when theyre not obsessing over it.. the whole ‘didnt even realise i was pregnant till i was a week late and took a test’ 😂😂😂

Not told my husband ive tested.. originally we agreed to test a week late only 👀👀👀👀

My hubby has taken to asking every day now....'so any sign of your period' 🤣🤣 dude it's the freaking first thing I would tell you as I'm a proper grumpy bitch 🙄🤣

One of my mates wasn't really trying they were just going to see what happens and boom pregnant !! I'm like wtf ! I'm currently keeping clear blue in profit with the ovulation tests alone !!

I fee mean but then I dont. When are you going to restest? And do you always use first morning urine? Im so confused about that because some people say second morning urine is better?

At the moment I'm running to the loo what feels like every two minutes, I tested this morning with FMU but I'll probably take another test later today, only problem is they recommend that you hold off going to the loo for 4 hours and not drink much, coffee is my best friend ! And I'm a wee bit bored right now so drinking loads of it 🤣🤣

Yep I'm 14 days late, I think I've lost count of the amout of test and so many different brands and BFN for me

Hence why I buy the wee internet cheap ones !
Although knowing my luck they'll be a shit batch 🤣🤣

Just taken my second one of the day and the bloody control window didn't work so the test didn't actually do anything. Kill me now. Don't have any more in the house - maybe it's for the best? Going to TRY and hold off buying anymore to stop myself from taking them all.

But agree that if it isn't, AF needs to just come so we can get on with it again!!

How long would you girls wait to go an get a blood test - particularly during this Corona madness? I'm 3 days late

I'll not be asking for a blood test at all, it will be wayyyy down the list of priorities at this moment in time.

As it stands my heart is saying that maybe I'll get a positive test in a few days but my head is thinking rationally about it.

A possible reason that I'm late is that it's been a chemical pregnancy where the egg has failed to attach properly and your body thinks it's pregnant, but eventually it realised that hcg isn't being released and will then do the usual and expel, the reason it takes a few days is possibly due to this.
I've read up on previous posters saying they were 15 days or so late and still having negative tests and then go on to have heavy periods.
So like I said my head is thinking this might be the case. I highly doubt I'm one of these rare women out there who goes on to having a positive test more than 7-14 days late, stranger things have happened, but I doubt it

Ive checked my cycle tracking app which has tracked my cycle for nearly 4 years and in 45 cycles ive only ever been this late 5 times!! And i dtd 8 times over my fertile window.. 4 days late gonna get a frer today and test in the mornjng then sunday morning 😭 ttc is a bitch

It actually sounds like it's quite possible you may be prefers and just late because of it x I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Well just went to the loo and Af has finally arrived !!
Just some spotting so far so will see if it fully develops but checked the ol cervix and it's def lower that it was yesterday so I'm out this month 🤷‍♀️

Upside with all my daughters classes being cancelled and possibility that her nursery is now closes at least I'll have plenty of time to get going on trying again !! There's most def going to be a baby boom with all that's happening 🤣🤣
