AF due today, still BFN. Anyone else?

Hi ladies,
AF was due today, and still testing BFN. I used a First Detection Early Response for my SMU. Right now I should be around 13-14 DPO. Am I out for this cycle? My cervix is still high, and soft. My CM has changed over the two days, it went from white "lotiony" consistency to now more watery. Is this something anyone else experienced before getting BFP?
I have had a few other symptoms of early pregnancy: I am feeling a twinge in my lower right pelvic side, I am a bit dizzy, intense thirst, and my body temperature is about a degree higher than normal. Maybe I am symptom spotting, but hopefully someone else had something similar.

That is a very good idea! I get almost too scared to test, I've looked at many negative FRER's in the past 10 months but I'll give it a go! Your BFP has given me hope! Xx

Hello ladies.
Just thought I’d update you. Took three tests today all at the same time and all positive. I’m in shock. Would explain my pain and feeling faint. Just worrying as I’ve been taking ibuprofen - will stop now. Xxx

Thank you! Must say I’m nervous what with covid 19! And I’m front line NHS with type 1 diabetes and asthma so will speak to occupational health and my Manager tomorrow x

@pinkhan135 yes definitely speak to them asap, with those conditions alone you are categorised as high risk arent you? They may be able to reassign you to other less front line teams that will be less risk for you. I'm sure there is a ton of work behind the scenes that they need support with. Good luck and most importantly put your health first and try not to stress too much! Xx

Oh wow so happy a few of you were able to get BFP! yayy! I know its going to be nerve wrecking during these trying times, but I am very happy for you guys.

@Maise24 I caved and took a clear blue this AM, I have no more FRER. Stark negative. :(
Last night I was getting night sweats, and had horrible insomnia. Maybe the stress of everything is what is keeping my AF away. I am going to save my last test for next Friday. I know it's a long ways away, but it is my last one and kind of my hail Mary.

Bought a FRER today and it was snowy white! It was an afternoon wee though and AF still isn't here so I'll try another cheapie with FMU tomorrow before I waste my last FRER!

Argh BFN with one of those boots strip tests this morning.... It feels like I will never see a BFP! I should have just waited for the FRER. Or as I'm coming to realise the most likely outcome now is that AF is just late and will be with me any day now. Honestly hate this

Another BFN for me too, it’s so hard not to test but I’m going to try and hold off until the end of the week now like the GP advised. Reading stories of people who didn’t see a positive until they were weeks late is giving me hope! 🤞🏻Hope you’re ok Masie24 🌸

BFN for me today as well 🤷‍♀️

I just downloaded the ovia app and it has calculated my fertile window as much later than my natural cycles had (I hadn't been recording temp just using it as a rough guide). Ovia predicted my fertile window went up to the 11th march so could only be DPO 11 today. So confusing!! I think I'll hold off for testing for a few days and save the FRER. If that's negative on wednesday I'll have to assume I'm out!

This ovia app looks really good though, do any of you use it?? Xx

That’s interesting! I am currently using the natural cycles app, hadn’t heard of Ovia, I’ve been using the thermometer and tracking temperatures but my temperatures are all over the place. Natural cycles has pinned it down to roughly a week where I could of ovulated but not the exact day/s 😂🤦🏻‍♀️ I am day 51 of this cycle now 😩

I have also been reading those! My OH thinks I've lost my marbles, he doesnt get it... he keeps asking how the mums net club is lol.

Fingers crossed for you ladies!! I suppose we arent out till AF shows but this waiting is killing me. Slightly worried as I had a random 40 day cycle the other month too, but my GP did all the hormone tests and a transvaginal scan to check my ovaries and uterine walls, nothing wrong there so perhaps stress? Or I've put on about a stone in the last 6 months, taking my BMI into the overweight range so maybe it's that.... or maybe I should give myself a break and try to relax xx

My husband things the same, he finds it so funny that I keep testing every day and can’t work out why I can’t just leave it until Thursday 😂

You’re definitely not out until af shows up 🌸 The current situation with Coronavirus is adding to the stress and making it harder to relax, I’ve been finding it really hard to switch off and being home more is making the urge to keep testing worse 😂 The uncertainty of everything is really difficult, but we’re not alone and we need to be kind to ourselves xxx

Well I just went to the loo and when I wiped there was some pink blood so looks like I'm out! Why do our bodies play these tricks on us?! Xx

Well judging by my natural cycles app it should have been at some point over the weekend. I had some sharp stabbing pains on Saturday and mild cramping but nothing since then, I was really shocked when I wiped and there was some pink! It was there for a couple of hours but has stopped now. I'm assuming its the start of late AF however literally every other period I've had in my life has always started in the morning when I wake up and been heavier then, so I'm just confused! Maybe as I approach my 30's its all changing..?!

Ah ok. All my periods recently have started with light spotting before starting fully. Bodies are confusing things aren’t they! :(

Yes very much so! I'll wait and see what happens. Ive made my peace with it being AF - having a small glass of wine tonight as feeling utterly fed up! Really happy for you with your BFP - hope mine is round the corner soon too :)
