Hi ladies,
I'm just looking for some advice. I came off Cerezette 6 weeks ago and the following has happened;
No withdrawal bleed
No sign of a period
Cramping in my ovaries every day, sometimes really sharp
Painful nipples
Sex drive has returned (positive)
Ovulation tests all negative

Please can you share your experiences as I'm starting to worry especially as I am at a higher risk of ectopic pregnancy.

Hi 30somethingyorkie
Try not to panic I’ve been off birth control now for 8 weeks and only last week got what must have been my withdrawal bleed my period should be due 1st April if my cycles go back to how they use to be before bc. The pain your experience could be side effects of coming off the pill. Doctors do say could take up to 3 months before your cycles regulate again. If not back to normal by 6 months get checked out x

When I came off my pill I had a withdrawal bleed as normal (I was on microgynon) then it took 7 weeks until I had a period, then another 7.5 weeks until my next one. It just takes some people a long time to adjust I think x
