Cramping 2dpo?

Hi everyone,
I'm new on here and it is my first month TTC and as you can imagine I'm desperate for it to work (even though I know the chances are about 25% - but here is hoping ). Anyway I'm about 2dpo and have been experiencing cramps, mainly on my left side. I don't usually have these and I'm most probably symptom spotting but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced anything similar and maybe what it meant for them? Thanks .

Hi, are you using any method of tracking ovulation? You might be ovulating now and these cramps could be ov related.
I felt some cramps in my TWW also but it was 9dpo and ended up with a BFN so they were probably af related.

I'm 2 DPO as well and have had some mild pain mainly on my right side. I know I've ovulated as been temping and using opks. I don't know what it means and I'm sure I don't normally have this 2 DPO so am interested to know if anyone else has experience this. Hopefully it's a good sign 🤞🏻

I was using opks too so I know I ovulated. I'm also hoping it's a good sign and would like to know other people's experiences 🤞🏻

Although I have read that it could be bruising pains from ovulation or progesterone related. I also have sore boobs.

@CrazyCatLady2788 Hm...I don't think it's that personally, I feel like if it was I probably would of experienced it some point before. I've got sore boobs too!! Only when I press on them though but again I don't normally get that this early on. I don't think I do anyway, don't make a habit of feeling my boobs 😂

I know I don't recall feeling like this before either but then I start telling myself I'm just wishing it 🙈

@CrazyCatLady2788 oh yea I know the feeling. This is only my third month ttc but I symptom spot like crazy and I'm sure all this is probably just in my head lol but yes definitely!! You'll have to let me know if you develop any more symptoms. We're both 2dpo so be interesting to see what we both go through

How are you feeling now @tossacoin1? My cramps don't seem as much now but I've had a feeling of light headedness/dizziness the past couple of days.

@CrazyCatLady2788 oh really? That sounds promising. My cramps stopped after 2dpo and I've got no symptoms at all. I had sore boobs from the beginning but now they seem to be getting better when I thought they would be getting worse! So not hopeful unfortunately

How are things going now @tossacoin1? Well all my symptoms have stopped. My boobs are a tiny bit sore and that is more or less it!

I'm gonna echo what Amy005 said and guess you're ovulating now. Bear in mind some people have multiple LH surges and only the last peak indicates ovulation so if this is your first month tracking you may not know what type of LH cycle you have yet?

@CrazyCatLady2788 my symptoms have stopped as well. I had increased cm up until today (I've had none today) and yesterday morning I had sharp pains on and off and I was hopeful this was it but after having absolutely no symptoms today I think I'm out. Are you going to test?

I'm debating testing tomorrow morning at 10dpo but then don't know if that's silly and I should wait. Had a few little twinges today but nothing to write home about. I've hardly had any CM. What will you do?

@CrazyCatLady2788 well I did a FRER this morning 9dpo but in the right time frame for testing and it was negative. I have no symptoms at all so I def think I'm out. Unless anything changes and I get symptoms I won't be testing again, I'll just wait till af shows up as I'm convinced she will

Well I ended up doing a FRER this morning and I've got a second pink line! It's faint - I've tried to take a pic. It does look a little darker in real life.

I am dead happy if it is a positive but also feel rather worried about all the coronavirus stuff 🙈

@CrazyCatLady2788 congratulations!! That's amazing. I also got a BFP this morning, I think mine looks a little fainter than yours though (the FRER was second urine). I know it is a worry. I've already made my midwife appointment as I was worried incase people are panicking and booking extra appointments. I just hope my husband will be able to come to scans. Someone on here did say that it is an essential part of the nhs and it won't stop cause of the virus

I haven't rang the doctors yet - were they able to see you like normal etc? Yes I would hope the hubby could come to scans too! We should be due around the same time - how exciting

@CrazyCatLady2788 thank you 😊 yes same as normal, she just said obviously things may change if anything new develops but she'll let me know. I also went in and picked up a pregnancy pack, there is so much stuff in it! Stuff to fill out and lots of information for you. Yes we should!! We've got a few December family members now, my birthdays in Dec and my my brothers and 2 brothers in law lol

@tossacoin1 Aww that's lovely! You never know, you could end up sharing the same birthday ha! My nephew was born on Christmas Day last year... I'm hoping mine will come before then 😂 We should keep in touch and share our journey and experiences 😊 Is this your first too?

@CrazyCatLady2788 I hope not! My birthday is very close to Xmas lol I hope it comes very early December. Definitely that would be nice!! Yea this is my first. So weird finding out I'm pregnant but having no symptoms and just generally feeling good. Give it a couple weeks and I'm sure I will have them in full force lol

@CrazyCatLady2788 how are you feeling? Any symptoms? Still none for me yet, I feel quite disappointed by it. I want something so it feels real for me

@tossacoin1 oh I know what you mean! I think I still feel a bit worried and cautious. I took another pregnancy test and the line is getting darker so I'm just hoping it all goes ok. I haven't really had any symptoms either. My boobs are a little sore and I've felt tired, but I'm always tired anyway so I don't think it's a symptom 🤣 I braved the supermarket earlier and felt a bit dizzy. Not sure if it's just in my head or not. I was reading about a lot of people not being allowed to take their partners to their scans etc. I've decided it that's still the case when we are ready for ours I'm going to book a private one too as they are still letting people in together. Have you told anyone you know yet?

@CrazyCatLady2788 that's good, it's so comforting when you seen the line get darker. Mine was darker this morning but I won't be testing again now till next week. That's a good idea about the private scan, I have no idea how much they are though. I would have to weigh up whether the cost would be worth it. My friend know and I told my mum yesterday. Felt a bit rubbish as she was more concerned about the timing due to the coronavirus. Have you told anyone?
