Came off pill:19/12
Withdrawal bleed:16/1 (28 days)
First period:17/2 (32 days)
Ovulation: 4/3 (Cycle day 17)
Hi everyone, I told myself I would play it cool with it being the first real month but I’ve been symptom spotting like mad. I’ve had quite a lot of symptoms this month. I’ve never get pain in my nipples but this month they’ve been so full and sore for the past few days, I’ve had also had back ache, hot flashes, heavy feeling in my stomach and felt as if I’ve had cold when waking. Today I’ve woke up (cd 27) and feel so sick, worried that it’s because my period is due but there’s still 6 days to go. Please say I’m not the only one symptom spotting like mad. X

@1987nic - every woman that's TTC symptom spots so you're not alone 😉 give it a couple of days and test using a CB or FRER. You'll soon be a pee on a stick addict like me! But I'm 15 months into TTC now

1987Nic · 14/03/2020 16:44

@MummyT13 Thanks Smile, I really didn’t think I would be so obsessed ha. I’ve bought a clear blue early detection test to try next week. Are you trying for your first child?

OP posts:
MummyT13 · 14/03/2020 16:51

@1987nic no I'm not, I'm trying for my 3rd! The first 2 were easy though until the birth. I had complications with my second one but I'm worried that there may be issues with me now because of them complications. You?

1987Nic · 14/03/2020 16:58

Aw hope you get your BFP. How old are your children? I’m 32 and trying for my first. Smile

@1987Nic Oh I’ll join you because we are quite similar!
Came off pill jan 24th
Withdrawal 31st jan
First natural AF 20th Feb
Ovulation approx 4th March

I took a test yesterday around 9DPO because I was wondering whether to have a drink this weekend as we are away it was negative but appreciate that’s early even though I’m pretty sure AF will be with me around the 19th ☺️ Trying not to symptom spot haven’t had much really besides super sore/sensitive nipples which I’ve never ever had but maybe an AF symptom my pill masked? No idea ☺️

Nora11 · 14/03/2020 18:02

Im due on 21st! Ovulated around 3rd Mar so about 11dpo now I think... I did a test a few days ago which was negative, bit hoping I was just too early! Have also been symptom spotting like crazy 😂 but haven't had anything that really stands out tbh as much as I want to believe every twinge or weird feeling is a good sign!

1987Nic · 14/03/2020 20:33

@Macaz20 That is very similar meSmile. That’s a good theory about the pill, I never got any pain in my nipples before I went on contraception so I’m totally confused. What pill were you on? Are you trying for baby number 1?

OP posts:
1987Nic · 14/03/2020 20:36

@Nora11 Your dates are also similar to @Macaz20 and I. It’s so tempting to try a test but my bf has been good at telling me to wait. Don’t I know, every little thing I’m getting excited about ha. Are you trying for your first child? What cycle are you on?

OP posts:
Nora11 · 14/03/2020 20:46

Crazy how we are all so close together! It's nice to talk to people in the same boat! 😊 We are trying for our first and this is our second cycle ttc - so very early days but I'm already so impatient! Trying to persuade myself not to test again tomorrow morning 🤣

1987Nic · 14/03/2020 21:01

I know it’s so lovely to talk to people on Mumsnet but even better when people are at a similar point in their cycle. Easy said but you’ll thank yourself if you wait and more chance of being a BFP. I feel as if I can keep myself occupied on a weekend but as soon as I’m back to work I think about it loads. Have you told any friends or family that you are trying?

OP posts:
Macaz20 · 14/03/2020 23:12

@1987Nic @Nora11 so good we close together! Cycle friends! ☺️ Hoping for BFPs for us all ☺️

Yeah I mean I never had the nipple issues before I went on contraception but I’m going with that theory because I don’t think it’s gonna happen this month. If AF doesn’t rear her head by the 19th I’ll test again but I’m presuming she’s gonna grace me with her presence 😂 I was on the mini pill how about you? This is cycle 1 for child 1 ☺️ I’m 29 and my partner is 30. Don’t think he understands the whole cycle thing sometimes mind 😂

Blackbelt · 14/03/2020 23:38

I'm TTC my first, am 35. 8th cycle ish I think. Due af on 21st. Symptom spotting like mad! Keep getting tummy pulling. Mental health is very poor this month so I'm on tenderhooks to be honest.

Juno231 · 14/03/2020 23:40

Hello I'll join if that is okay! AF due 21st :)
Came off the pill in Oct but started TTC last month so this is only our second cycle.

Was symptom spotting lots last month but am feeling a tiny bit more relaxed about it this time round. Atm I've got sore nipples, had an achey/heavy feeling in my lower abdomen and headaches. Not much to base anything on really but am only 7 DPO so I know it's all in my head as it's too early even for implantation!

Macaz20 · 15/03/2020 08:39

Hello @Blackbelt and @Juno231 ☺️ More peeps around the same time ☺️ How’s everyone feeling today?

Nora11 · 15/03/2020 09:28

Thanks @1987Nic! I was very tempted to test this morning but I didn't! 💪

I'm feeling ok today @Macaz20 not feeling any symptoms... Yet! I'm just feeling so impatient! I ovulated quite early in my cycle so the wait for AF to be due seems sooo long!

Hi @blackbelt and @juno231! 😊 Fingers crossed for all of us!

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:35

@Macaz20 I was also on a mini pill (cerazette), I was on it for around 10 years so I should keep positive that my periods have arrived straight away. I’m trying for my first child, my bf and I are both 32. My bf is learning, at first he didn’t like the idea of ovulation tracking but he’s soon changed ha.

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:37

Welcome @Blackbelt lovely to have someone else due the same time as the rest Smile. Sorry to hear about your mental health not being so good, I’ve been very anxious over this Coronavirus lately.

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:40

Hi @Juno231 of course you are welcome to join, lovely to have is all waiting for around the same date. Your symptoms sound very similar to me. I’m hoping that I will start to chill out a little next month, you sound like you are doing well to not obsess like me ha. Are you planning for your first child?

OP posts:
1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:41

Aw well done @Nora11 you’ve done well to wait.

OP posts:
1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:43

Joint hi to everyone today, I don’t really feel as if I’ve got any symptoms today but I shall update you all once I pull myself away from my bed ha. Has anyone bought an early detection pregnancy test? I’ve bought a clear blue one that says I can start testing as early as tomorrow.

OP posts:
Macaz20 · 15/03/2020 09:44

@1987Nic same as me I was on that pill for about 10 years was very pleased to see AF arrive promptly after stopping the pill as I’ve seen some others aren’t so lucky! If AF arrives then I’m going to order OPKs for next month but just so I can understand when I ovulate etc I’m still learning 😂

1987Nic · 15/03/2020 09:48

Yeah I know, I’ve heard it take nearly a year for people to get periods back. Definitely a good idea, I bought the clear blue ones from groupon and added a discount code so wasn’t too bad for two months worth.

OP posts:
Macaz20 · 15/03/2020 10:01

@1987Nic oh thanks for the heads up I’ll have a browse later on ☺️ I’m not gonna order till AF arrives I don’t think. I’m pretty positive it’s not gonna happen this month but would be gutted to spend and then not need haha.

Blackbelt · 15/03/2020 11:25

Thanks for making me feel welcome. It's funny how some months I think I am, some months I don't. I suppose it could fertilise and not implant. Trying not to test too soon as had a chemical in december. I hid all my tests in the back of the wardrobe!! My nipples are sore and boobs feel so much fuller, but that could just be because I've been eating my feelings and gained some weight! It's all very exhausting.

MrsChicken89 · 15/03/2020 12:52

Hello! Ttc for around 30 cycles(actually lost count) , just over 2 years. Af due on mothers day (22nd march). I OV'd on cd14 which is pretty early for me its usually 16-18 so managed to get 2 bd's in & 2nd cycle using pre-seed.

I was on cerazette for years & took me 10 weeks to get my first period.
