I'm a bit confused although really shouldn't be. I think I might be ovulating today - if we have sex tonight, is that us having probably missed the boat or we may be okay? I know that sounds really dumb but I have a vague recollection of it taking a certain amount of time for sperm to travel and the day of ovulation may be too late?

Side question, I'm also ovulating today
Have you read or heard anything about TTC and corona

BuffaloCauliflower · 14/03/2020 09:00

@Shk38 there’s no additional risk to pregnant women or foetus’s from Coronavirus, nothing to worry about. For most people it will be a very mild virus.

@kirinm generally the couple of days leading up to ovulation are when you’re best to try, as you want the sperm ready and waiting for the egg to pop, but you won’t necessarily have missed it

I think I missed it as had quite a few cramps yesterday but had sex anyway just in case.

Hi ladies can i jump on I ovulated yesterday and I am 1dpo today Grin

FWIW I was reading up on the best time to dtd around ovulation and it says the fastest sperm can reach the egg in 30 minutes while slower sperm can take a couple of days x

Sorry ladies I haven't been getting emails to say anyone's posted, I'm ovulating today my test was super positive :) 7th month trying, said we'd put off due to the virus but couldn't help ourselves so we'll row with it !
