Hi ladies, so I took a hpt yesterday (Lloyd's pharmacy own brand) and it was a faint positive. Took two tests this morning (clear blue early detection and another Lloyd's pharmacy brand) and both negative. Are these test notorious for false positives? Did anyone else get a positive in the evening rather than the morning?

I find the most reliable tests to be FRERs, and most on here agree. Blue line tests are less easy to see, I find!

Can you pop to the supermarket and pick up a FRER tonight to use in the morning, first pee?

How many DPO are you?

Lauren122 · 11/03/2020 18:33

@EmbarrassingMama the Lloyds pharmacy were pink dye tests, and I don't know how many DPO I am as I have very irregular periods, I have an internal scan at the end of the month to determine why. I can get a frer at the weekend hopefully, everywhere around me has sold out and only has cheapies or clear blue :(

Ah, the old coronovirus pregnancy test stockpile?? Grin

Good luck with the scan at the end of the month. Fingers crossed you get your BFP before then. X
