Hi
I was 7 days late for my period tested and was negative!
Started bleeding yesterday morning, (haven't been heavy at all) then today my pad is pretty much clean, it's light pink now when I'm wiping (sorry tmi) (was dark red yesterday). Trying to conceive so when I was late I thought my luck was in!!! Any advice??

How long was your cycle maybe you've ovulated later than you thought? Have you retested just incase?

Maybe it was just an unusual period I had that last month I was convinced I was pregnant because it only lasted 2 days or so and it was very light and came earlier than usual but I wasn't pregnant it was just a light period and it made up for it this cycle I couldn't move with the pain and had it for 5 days! Have you been ttc long? Sometimes it likes to play tricks on us

@NicoleR14 ttc about 8 months now, I had an ectopic last January and retained products so took 7 weeks in total for it to pass. Got all things running through my head lol xx

I've been told you can fall pregnant straight away after having an ectopic I had a suspected one in December which turned out to be a chemical my gp had scared us quiet a bit telling me I had an ectopic pregnancy when it wasn't as dangerous as that! We have been ttc around 6 months now and getting nowhere but gp won't help unless you've been ttc for a year! It's silly, has your period always been regular or has it had its ups and downs?

I think probably you didnt ovulate this month and this wasn't a 'period', just a bleed.

This is totally normal btw, to have cycles where ovulation doesn't take place is common
