Coming off pill

I have come off the pill in September, I had a withdrawal bleed and 10 day period in December. But nothing since, I have tested at different times and all negative. When will my periods return to normal so I can ovulate? Do I need to see the dr?Hmm

Was it a combined pill or mini pill do you know? They work slightly differently.

Either way, I think advice is to see Dr if you've not had a "normal" period within six months of stopping taking them. Unless a 10 day period is normal for you it might be time to think about making an appointment. Can't hurt to talk to them anyway

Wishing you the best x

Hi, thanks for your reply, it was cerelle so a mini pill so don’t have periods whilst on it. I haven’t had a period for about 5 years so not sure what’s normal. X

I had over 100 days between periods when I came off the pill and no sign that I ovulated in the first 6 months. A trip to the Dr put my mind at rest...good luck x

I came off the mini pill about 4 weeks ago after being on it for over 7 years. Ovulated on 26th Feb (I went to the doctors doubled over in pain and this is what I was told), and has A LOT of cm, feeling very off and unwell recently and very emotional, sore boobs etc, and came on this morning..during my bloody spin class...nightmare.
I’m very surprised as I’ve read on here it can take quite a while for your first period to come. Hope your body starts getting back to normal soon x
