Opk question

I my surge this time lasted over a full 2 days which is unusual for me as once I hit a peak my opks start to get light again straight away. When do I class ovulation...the day after the 1st peak or the day after my opks began to get lighter?

Anyone?

I take it you are using non digital sticks?
Read the instructions on the brand of OPKs you are using... The digital OPKs state you should ovulate within 24 to 48 hours after peak was first detected. Hope this helps xx

Ps, you are better to have sex the days leading up to ovulation so the sperm is there waiting. Sperm can live for up to 5 days. If you leave it until peak it could be too late. Good luck
