I've been on the implant for about 4 and a half years now , this is my second time around on it , I'm having such a bad time with it at the moment worst than the first time around, I'm a bit concerned but a bit scared to go to the nurse just in case it's normal 😑 my cycle has been up and down the walls for the last 4, and a half years were it will miss a month then give me a longer one in one month but since the middle of November I have had a period and all of a sudden I've been more tired than usual and feeling sick , craving foods and hungry a lot lately I'm hoping this birth control hasn't let me down and managed to get me accidentally pregnant but has anybody every experience the same or something similar please advice would be lovely , no hate 😑😊

I was on the implant for nearly 8 years (just come off it). The first 2 implants I had in were great - Didn't have periods!

Then I had my third one. This time I bloated , put on about 2 stone as it can affect appetite, had increased mood swings and fatigue. A number of times I thought I was pregnant because of these problems, but it was just the implant. Had it taken out last month as now TTC and even though I am on symptom spot now, I dont have as many as I did when I was on it!

That isnt to say you cant get pregnant on it, so I would do a test to check!
