I currently have my final period prior to TTC and have a query regarding recording. I always have two or three days of spotting before the proper flow begins and for years have recorded the first day of proper flow as the first day of my period but am unsure whether this would cause my predicted ovulation date to be inaccurate. I've started using the Femometer app so am measuring my BBT and usually have noticable ovulation fluid but want to be as precise as possible. Does anybody know whether I should record the first day as the first spotting or flow day?
