Hey lovelies

So... I've just had my copper coil removed
Mixed feelings tbh!
I really want to start a family, so just wanted to see how long it took those who have had the copper coil removed, to conceive ? If it isn't to personal!

Thanks
!

Hey I had my coil removed in October, fell pregnant 6 weeks later unfortunately ended in mc at 7 weeks but the nurse said that wouldn’t be to do with the coil. Now ttc first cycle since Mc

Hi, I had the copper coil for 5 years and I had it taken out last year April. Still trying to conceive!

CadburyFlake · 06/03/2020 10:37

I had it taken out at the end of period so approx day 8 or 9. I was pregnant that cycle.

I appreciate it was pretty lucky to happen that way.

Following this thread as I had mine taken out last week so i'm interested in the replies. Even with no hormones I don't expect it to happen straight away but then again others get lucky. I had mine taken out during AF so pretty much day 2 of cycle which apparently is the best and least painful time to have it done even though I was embarrassed about it.

Hey!

The removal was not so bad thankfully
Hoping I can have a baby soon!
Thanks for all the replies lovelies I really appreciate it x

Good luck tcc x

Another one for the same cycle here!

Next cycle here too!

Hopefully someone is still watching this thread.

So my period is 4 days late. Had spotting for a few days and cramping etc but no proper AF. Test this morning was negative.
Did anyone else have a change in period after having the copper coil removed? Before this I have been very regular all my life so just wondering what could be going on.

megs31 · 26/03/2020 12:29

I had mine removed on the 5th of this month, I have super regular periods - AF arrives 18/19 of each month - she's still not here and I've had 2 BFN :(

No idea whats going on!

Factualmistakes · 30/03/2020 19:31

@megs31

How weird! I had a BFN then something a bit more like a period as I had brighter red blood but then back to spotting and darker brown. It was 4 days late too at least. No idea where I am in my cycle now so going to do extra opk tests this month.

I had my copper coil removed just before my wedding, and got pregnant during honeymoon. So it was pretty immediate for me!

mia22221 · 06/04/2020 23:35

Hey lovelies

No luck for me yet.. and my period was delayed when I had my coil removed

Still trying and not got my 2nd period yet so fingers crossed !!
