Hi!
So I’ve been tracking my periods/cycles for a few months but this March is the first month we are really going to start TTC!
We go on holiday the week I’m ovulating it appears :) so I’m hoping that helps things!
I’ve noticed my cycles vary from 26/27 days to 31 days, is this still classed as regular?
I don’t want to be using ovulating sticks when on holiday but does anybody have any tips?

Thanks so much
Anna

Hi, this is our 3rd month TTC and I've been tracking ovulation every month, I would definatly continue to track whilst you're away as Dec (tracked just to see what body was doing) I ovulated around CD 15/16 and same again in Jan whereas Feb I ovulated around CD 13/14 so definatly worth keeping track as it can fluctuate (for me anyways!) between months... hope this helps? & good luck 😍

Sorry also, my periods range from average 26-28 days but the first month TTC I had a 30day cycle which threw me a bit 🤷🏼‍♀️

Just dtd everday/every other day of your fertile period. And if sometimes you have longer cycles make sure you keep this up until your period arrives. My cycle is typically 32 days and I ovulate around day 18/19 if that helps.

Thanks Emma for your response. It’s already nice to speak to someone in a similar situation. It’s really hard to speak to friends and family because I don’t want them all knowing when we start trying as they’ll just be on my case all the time! And then all my friends have children/are pregnant, my best friend fell pregnant so quickly in the first month and then another friend ended up on the ivf route! I have soooo many things going through my mind as we are at the start of the journey!

Thanks Katniss. That was something else I’ve considered, we are definitely not every day kind of people! So I’m hoping every other day works, or just as often as we can/want, is enough for us!

If anybody has any more advice, I’d be grateful :)

Good luck! 😊 this is our 3rd month TTC and I don't feel as stressed as I did on the first month because I was so eager and now I'm like 'it'll happen' and just relax 🙌🏼
