Never started a bus before.
I’m out for March as just got af and have long cycles.

Will be hoping for a bfp mid April.

Anyone want to hop aboard?

I’m ttc#2 cycle#4

Ds turning 2 this month so hoping to give him a sibling for Christmas 😁

@podmama - so sorry to hear this, coronavirus sucks! Great that you can focus on this instead though, sounds like a good plan!

Hope it’s ok to join - I’ve been lurking for a while. AF is due on 31 March. This is my first time trying - and my first 2WW! I know there are much worse things in life, but it’s hard not to obsess. I want to test daily. I also have been having investigations into mysterious pelvic pain and nausea, and so lots of early pregnancy symptoms overlap with my usual ones, which are worrying enough!
I’m thinking of doing a FRER tomorrow - I dreamt I was pregnant last night. I have sore boobs, nausea, headaches, cramps, hot flushes... but I know these might all be in my head and I am trying not to get my hopes up. So hard though!

Anyone got any tips for not going crazy?

podmama · 25/03/2020 11:57

@karenkeys thank you, yes we're pretty frustrated but at least it's not just us!

How soon before AF are you able to test? I haven't got first response tests, just a handful of boots own I managed to grab yesterday

littletandme · 25/03/2020 12:02

@karenkeys I think I'll test on Saturday as also due on 1st!

karenkeys · 25/03/2020 12:06

I got a positive result on a FRER 4 days before AF was due (albeit faint) in January, that turned out to be a chemical.

I have never tried testing on anything else but if they are similar sensitivity then they might be ok that early too. Otherwise you’re probably best waiting until the day AF is due to prevent wasting.

karenkeys · 25/03/2020 12:07

@littletandme 👍🏼 are you going for a FRER or Internet cheapie on Saturday?

Florence13 · 25/03/2020 12:10

I don't plan on testing until AF is due on the 2nd if I can manage to wait that long. No symptoms here at the moment. So sorry to hear about your wedding @podmama but at least you can start a family first.

littletandme · 25/03/2020 12:32

@karenkeys think I'll try a cheapie first, don't want to waste my FRERs this month as I only have those plus the CB digis with the weeks on. I liked using those when pregnant with DD as each week you could see it change.

karenkeys · 25/03/2020 14:46

@littletandme I do have a pack of cheapies I could use first too 🤔 but I’m not sure if they are sensitive enough. I want to make sure I don’t have a few glasses of wine on Saturday night if I’m pregnant so was thinking it would be safer to check with the FRER. Could always try a cheapie first though as if anything shows on that I don’t need to use the FRER. Are you hoping for a positive this month? I know there’s a lot of people on here holding off now.

littletandme · 25/03/2020 15:29

@karenkeys yes, I personally don't feel that it should change (for us) whether we TTC. Who knows if we will be recovered from this in 3 months or if it will take 6 or 9?

If I was a key worker I think I would feel differently, or if my husband was on the front line. He is still having to go into work as his job is important but his risk is low as he is only in an office with one other person most of the time and he is being vigilant about taking extra precautions at work.

karenkeys · 25/03/2020 15:59

@littletandme that’s good to hear, I feel the same. I’m safely working from home for the foreseeable future and my husband luckily isn’t working a high risk job either and can work remotely too. Life goes on! Hopefully some of us will get some good news in the coming weeks 🤞

megs31 · 25/03/2020 16:03

Hi guys!

Can I jump on the bus!

Had my Copper coil removed March 2nd, so TTC! week.

However, AF has not shown this month, she's 6 days late but I've had 2 BFN now Sad - and my cycles are always SUPER regular

Fingers crossed for April!!

Hatepickinganame · 25/03/2020 18:08

@littletandme myself and oh are both key workers, not nhs but food retail 🙄 we dont live together either yet so we are defo not ttc anymore 🤣 we have taken lockdown seriously, and we wont see each other til its lifted to minimise the risk to both of us. If circumstances were different i think we'd still carry on as we have, just not actively preventing it. Unless it happened this cycle then it's too late! I do think this virus is scary, but i also have faith in the fact that it will end, and there will be a vaccine and all those experts will find a way to treat it. Gotta keep positive, or try to.

Right01 · 26/03/2020 00:57

@Juno231 not as yet, just DTD as much as possible, OH works in construction/ factory work and they just closed yesterday not sure wheather to take it as a good or bad thing yet. @podmama sorry to hear about your wedding!!

AnxiousBear · 26/03/2020 08:29

I took a FRER this morning - AF due on Tuesday so perhaps too early. BFN of course. :-( Trying to keep distracted is so hard when WFH and being vigilant about social distancing.

Franklydear · 26/03/2020 11:34

Hello ladies, finally made it here

Hatepickinganame · 26/03/2020 12:38

@Franklydear sorry you made it to another bus 😔 how are you x

Franklydear · 26/03/2020 12:52

@hatepicking, I am ok, in a way glad, I am having asthma trouble, at risk and having meds I shouldn’t take pregnant, so all in all, for the best I think....weird thing, no pms symptoms at all,... so 6 th cycle at 42, maybe the universe is trying to tell me something

myhappystreak · 26/03/2020 13:27

Joining my first bus :)

AF due first week in april. Stocked up on home bargains cheapies before lockdown, anyone know if they are reliable?

OrangeJ · 26/03/2020 16:27

Hi everyone had a bit of a break as I am so fed up with my cycle. Currently on CD54 😫 and not yet ovulated, but LH strips are showing the darkest I’ve ever had so fingers crossed there’s still a slight chance of a December baby 🤞

Hope everyone is safe and well. Is anyone feeling positive this month? ✨

Florence13 · 26/03/2020 16:41

Hi @myhappystreak sorry I don't know about home bargains cheapies or if they are reliable. But welcome to the bus.

Hi @OrangeJ sorry to hear about your cycle 😥 I'm trying to keep positive but have no symptoms whatsoever at the moment which I don't know if it's a good thing or bad.

Hatepickinganame · 26/03/2020 16:49

@Franklydear sorry to hear youre having asthma problems! Its my biggest fear with my youngest right now. Making sure he has his preventer inhaler every day, last thing he needs is to end up in hospital right now 😔

@OrangeJ ah that sucks, hopefully something happens for you soon! Honestly i dont even know if i definitely ovulated, its been so stressful. So not really hopeful here!

OrangeJ · 26/03/2020 17:03

@myhappystreak lol. Some people stocking up on toilet roll, forget that give me all the tests 😂

@Florence13 aw when is your af due?

@hatepickinganame oh no 😫 I am kind of trying to get away from corona as it’s so stressful. Had to delete Facebook because I was getting down about everyone’s posts. Nice to have a break. Do you chart or anything?

Does anyone else ever look at an LH test and dream about it being a HSG test? I’m sad 😆

OrangeJ · 26/03/2020 17:33

*HCG

Hatepickinganame · 26/03/2020 19:28

@OrangeJ if only we could get away from it! What on earth did everyone talk about a month ago?! 🤣🤣 no i dont, i just go by ewcm and cramps, it seems to be between cd12 and cd16 but with all the drama i probably missed the signs 🙄 i dont even know what cd i am right now 🤣🤣🤣

Hatepickinganame · 26/03/2020 19:37

I just checked, cd18 and app predicts af in 10 days 🤣
