10 days late bfn

Hi all
Im going crazy, im 10 days late for my period, getting bfn ... any ideas whats going on???

Any thoughts?

It could be a chemical/early miscarriage which you perhaps missed getting a positive test on? I had one last month- got a very faint positive sometime after AF was due (can't recall how many days), but then negatives after that. If I hadn't randomly gotten that positive on that one day, I wouldn't have known...Finally got AF about 14 days after she was due. Or, it could be something else. @Ylladyoll was very late- due she thinks to the vitamins she was on...maybe she'll chime in here with thoughts.

I was 20 days late due to starting pregnacare vitamins. I have heard women say the have had BFPs after at 6 weeks and 8 weeks. So it is possible and you can never truly know until your period comes or you have had a doctor rule it via blood test and scan but it is very horrible being late, you are hopeful that the BFN will turn into a BFP unfortunately I had a very bad late period xx

Just to update ... still no period & bfn again yesterday, i have no clue whats going on :-(

I'm same @stealthynamechange - roughly 10 days late now, testing every other day but bfns every time!! Going to book gp next week because either 1) I'll still be waiting so a blood test would be good, or 2) I'll have had a bfp so need to tell gp anyway.

Or 3) AF will have started in which case I'll cancel!!

Scratch that, I can't get a gp appointment until april 😂 never mind!

Yeah still same. Cramping has been on and off for about a week now, wish AF would just arrive if it's going to! So fed up... best wishes to everyone else:)

Apologies know this is a couple of days old but any updates from anyone. I'm 8 days late no positives and I've tested everyday? Could it be because of stress. I also started taking multi vitimins this month could that contribute

Hi all been reading through all your posts & I'm in the same boat too... 9 days late for af, tested on days 5 & 8 with a cheapie strip test but 2 BFN ...
I haven't been actively TTC just realised that after a week of period type cramps, being bloated, gas, extra cm, peeing more frequently.... that I didn't actually come on 😬
No idea when I ov but am always on a 28 days regular cycle. Never missed a period before other than when I was pregnant with DD 3yrs ago (got a bfp 1 day early with 1st)
Will test again tomorrow.

Hi ladies, I would really appreciate some thoughts and advice.

I'm 23 years old. I have got a 2 year old turning 3, and a 5month old.
I've never EVER missed a period, nor have I any drastic changes in my life. My periods are like clock work even after 2 horrific pregnancies including, emergency surgery for an erupted gallbladder I could go on forever but trying not to. With my youngest I had a million possitive tests hospital told me their tests were negitive. I was going out my mind. Anyway, eventually they called me and apoligised and said actually I was pregnant. Even though their tests were negitive.

Anyway I am 9 days late now. (this has never happend). All negitive tests. The one slight possitive I got, amazon reviews ended up being the tests were dogey they gave false possitive etc etc.

Another test tonight, negitive.

1 week before period due I had strange colour on loo roll, I will try post pic sorry for TMI.
Im driving myself mental. This is really making my anxaity even more severe.
My doctor keeps saying wait 5 days wait 3 days wait 2 days. But they won't see me because of covid.
Any advice?

In my experience tests are usually accurate, in some people, it is rare tho, have negative pregnancy tests even though are positive. Not much you can do but wait as your doctor says. I would wait until you miss your next period. I was 21 days late, which I never was before, like clockwork, this I worked out was down to starting prenatal vitamins. The doctors will see you if you miss another period, especially if you have had a history of negative tests when being pregnant. Sadly 9 days late, you wont be a priority. Just wait, I know its hard to do xx good luck
