How long till you conceived your second?

We easily conceived our DD. First month, one try. Now it has been over a year since we have started trying for the second baby. No luck. One anembryonic, one chemical. Please just tell me your stories. I'm getting devastated. I was dreaming about children close in age and a big family , never thought we'd struggle.

First- 8 years
Second- 8 months

DD we took 3 months.
DS took 6 months (during this time we had two chemical pregnancies, and one month of not trying)

I got myself into such a state when I was going through the chemicals, I didn’t understand why my body kept rejecting them.

Thank you. I'm testing for ovulation, testing for bfp, always conscious about my symptoms and comparing them to my first pregnancy. It is awful. I also look at my dd and worry she won't have a sibling. We are blessed with her and I regret not taking more of my maternity leave to spend more time with her. I thought I would be back home very soon.

Approximately 9mths but that included a miscarriage.

Sorry you're struggling. Second was straight away from trying, but with a six year gap and I was 36. There was an ectopic somewhere in the middle (unplanned pregnancy).

DC1 was conceived first month of trying.

Took 3 months to conceive next time, but that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage.

DC2 conceived within 3 months of trying again.

DC1 was a total surprise. DC2 I think we had unprotected sex twice and she appeared! I used an app to track my fertility and I think that really worked. Good luck!

3 years for the first, 6 years for the second which ended in miscarriage then 3 babies in very quick succession.

I was in the same boat, I so wanted my children to be exactly two years apart, It didn’t happen, but honestly, whatever the age gap, It will become your normal, and it will work out xxx
