Hi all,
I hope someone might be able to help me? Hubby and I have been TTC for a few months now and this is the first month using the clearblue advanced ovulation kit. I got perk fertility last Tuesday morning so I am assuming the ovulation day was last Wednesday. We DTD last Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday so hopefully that covers us. So I am probably 5 or 6 DPO and I am just wondering how soon you notice any pregnancy symptoms? I know it is probably my mind playing tricks on me and I am looking for every symptom lol and I think that because I think we DTD at the "right time" this month I am overthinking everything! My tummy feels a bit sensitive today but that could just bug or overthinking! This could be a long two weeks. Does anyone have any advice? TIA.

Heya, you’re in the same bit of the 2WW as me! Ovulation was last Tuesday or Wednesday and we DTD Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday so hoping we’re covered. I’ve had some womb twinges and the odd pain, and think my boobs are a bit more tender - possibly wishful thinking but I was briefly pregnant last year (miscarriage) and sore boobs were the first sign at a week or so after O. I think some symptoms can be this early, every woman and pregnancy is different though. All you can do is wait really and hope for the best Smile

About 15 weeks- sorry!

After I'd had the 12 week scan. I had no symptoms at all, nothing at all before then.

I'm TTC our second and I treat any symptoms in TWW as period symptoms.

It's depressing but prevents the disappointment.

ellenpartridge · 02/03/2020 12:43

For me generally at least 6 weeks or so

Wearyandfeelingold · 02/03/2020 12:47

@BuffaloCauliflower we are around the same stage then...doesn't two weeks seem so long? Lol! Tbh I think I am over thinking and every little thing plays on my mind. I need to just to try and forget about it for the next week or so. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage last year. Hope all goes well for you.

@bingbangbing thanks...you are probably right and that is the best way to think about it. Saves getting my hopes up.

Saves a fortune on tests too

BuffaloCauliflower · 02/03/2020 13:16

I think I’m going to test Friday, might still be too soon but I’m not sure I’ll last much longer!

BuffaloCauliflower · 02/03/2020 13:18

@bingbangbing 15 weeks is pretty long! I’m sure you’re in the minority to have nothing in your first trimester

Wearyandfeelingold · 02/03/2020 14:29

Thank you @ellenpartridge...I think in the TWW you just notice every little thing! Lol!

I’m in the 2 week wait- it’s horrible isn’t it!

My period is due on the 8th March.

My symptoms are back ache, dull, full feeling in my womb area, sore breasts, pooping a lot, feeling like I’m coming down with something, feeling emotional, feeling angry.

Which could also all be PMS symptoms 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have ordered a FRER off amazon which will be here tomorrow and I’m so tempted to test tomorrow..

The last time I was pregnant I had a sensation of heat in the back of my throat, very odd I know! Tiredness, achey boobs, feeling emotional, cramps, feeling like I was coming down with a cold and achey, metallic taste in my mouth.

MrsL2016 · 02/03/2020 15:06

I had no symptoms until after I texted. Had some period like pains and sore boobs from about 4 weeks for a week or so. Then nausea kicked in at 7 weeks.

MrsL2016 · 02/03/2020 15:06

*tested

Wearyandfeelingold · 02/03/2020 15:07

@OrganicSmorganic Yes the TWW is horrible.

I am just going to try and put it out of my head for the next week or so....if that is even possible! Lol! I hope the test goes well for you. 🤞

wearyandfeelingold it has to be the longest wait you will ever have to endure, second only to the 1min wait waiting for that line to turn blue/pink 😆😆 same to you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I had ivf so we had the dates spot on, I felt tired and had "cold" symptoms like a sore throat and runny nose the day my period was due, then from a week later I felt EXHAUSTED constantly. My boobs never hurt, though DH said my nipples looked "different" even before we had our proper positive test.

Jurassiclover · 02/03/2020 15:43

I am 4DPO and know exactly how you feel regarding symptom spotting! I've noticed today my nipples are so tender and I'm having to try my hardest not to overthink it too much, two weeks feels ages!

HighOnStilts · 02/03/2020 15:47

Personally, I didn't have any symptoms until about 14 weeks! And even then it was omly sickness for me at that point, boobs felt totally normal! Only reason I knew I was pregnant was my period was late and was probably 1-2 weeks when I got my BFP x

BabyKnighty1 · 02/03/2020 16:19

Hey I got my Faint BFP yesterday and period was due in 2 days. I was feeling super tired all of last week, sore boobs but just like I was expecting my period and from yesterday period type cramps. I also feel like I couldn’t finish full sentences sometimes.

Thirtyrock39 · 02/03/2020 16:25

My first symptoms were always a couple of days before my period was due and were overwhelming tiredness and a weird taste in my mouth. Alot of the other common early symptoms are to easily confused with period symptoms in my experience - eg sore boobs
