TTC after miscarriage

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone is in the same situation 😔

Had a miscarriage in October of last year, and that pregnancy was conceived first month trying.

Since October we've continued trying, been BD roughly every other day and sometimes every day around ovulation. I'm taking folic acid and trying my best to eat a bit healthier etc, have a 40 mins walk every day even been adding in some yoga etc. I don't smoke, try not to drink too often. Yet still we've had not even a whiff of a BFP since October 😔.

It's starting to really get me down and worry me that something may be wrong with me. I'm only 22 almost 23 and I assumed getting pregnant would be so much easier 😔

Any one else in similar position and want to join me in TTC? I'm approaching TWW so shall see if this month makes any difference! Any one been in this situation in the past and have any tips/success stories to keep me feeling more positive?

Thanks guys x

Hey sweet. I'm so sorry to hear about your MC. It's so horrible and I know exactly how you feel. I miscarried in May of last year and was trying until October with nothing. I'm sure I wasn't even ovulating. It got me down to the point my partner and I split over it. I know it feels like forever but your body needs time to get over everything. I'm now ovulating as I've been testing which I'm super happy about. Have you tried that? Just to give you some piece of mind that your body is doing it's thing? Good luck. Xx

Thank you lovely, so sorry to hear of your MC too ❤️

I actually haven't started testing for OV just yet, mainly because I work 40 hours a week but have an hour travel to and from work and I feel like I'd never know when/what times of day to test! But it's something I very well may do if this month isn't my month. Also thinking of getting some pre seed as I've noticed I really don't get much EWCM which I know can make things a bit harder. Thank you!xx

Hi, sorry to hear about your MC. I had one a few weeks ago at 6 weeks and we have been trying again straight away. I think ill be in the tww any day now like you.
I recommend pre-seed although quite expensive! We conceived on cycle 2 which I am extremely grateful for (im 29 years old) but sadly that ended. I still remain hopeful though.
Wishing you luck x

@Chwil20 so sorry for your loss! I'm 4DPO approximately now, just hoping the next two weeks go fast. Yeah I'm gonna look into pre-seed I think! Nothing to loose in trying it I guess. Yeah I'm trying my best to remain hopeful too!
Wishing you luck too!x

HiJurassicLover, I am really sorry to hear about your loss, i know just how devastating it is.
I just wanted to pop on here to give you a little bit of hope. I miscarried at 7weeks in December 2019 and was heartbroken. I wanted to get pregnant straight away to attempt to undo all the pain I was feeling inside.
I am 24 and my partner is 25 and it was our first pregnancy and our first loss.
But last wednesday I found out I was pregnant, I am 4weeks and 5 days today! I hope knowing you wont be trying forever helps!
