Am I ovulating?!

I just took an ovulation test and there are two lines. The first one (test) more faint than the second (control)

My period has been irregular recently, my period has only just stopped today after 5 days. On the 3rd day of my period, I had unprotected sex. he did withdraw but I know it’s not a very effective contraceptive method... if it can even be called that.

I asked him if he had ejaculated inside of me at all and he said that he hadn’t. But either way, I presume that some could leak out without him knowing, or pre cum.

The test suggests I’m ovulating .... my cycle is usually 33 days long so this is unusual.

I had sex on the 27th. What day do you guys think is the best for me to take a pregnancy test? Maybe the week after next?

You normally ovulate around day 14 of your cycle, yours will probably be a bit after that as u have longer cycles, what cycle day are you on? Also ovulation test normally have 2 lines, the test line is normally darker or equal to the control line, this is a sign of ovulation, if it's lighter it's not, are you trying to get pregnant?

You’re right. I took an ovulation test last month, I took a picture of it on my phone. Just double checked, I ovulated on the 17th day of my cycle.

I forgot which line was meant to be darker, but you jogged my memory. Thank you.

Started my period on the 24th and my period ended on the 29th.

And yes, I am trying to conceive. My period is irregular due to stress so it’s quite difficult to figure out the best day to TTC

I seem to be fine all month up until a week before my period is due then my hormones cause me to get easily frustrated and intensely upset ... as a knock on effect, it wards away my period.

Day 1 is the first day of your period

I think the 1st day of your period is cycle day 1?

Oh right... so I’m day 6 then.

I misconstrued my ovulation test too. It’s a negative,

I’ve attached a picture of a positive OPK. The test line has to be the same colour or darker than the control line. Hope this helps

It's more than likely that u have not yet ovulated, try again in around 7-10 days
