My current dilemma - To drink or not to drink.

My period is 3 days late. The tests are all BFN (annoyingly!). I have some CM/ sick feeling/sore boobs but often do before af. I'm supposed to be going out to dinner and am known to have a few glasses of wine, will be odd if I didn't. And to be honest, I'd really enjoy a drink.

I have read of lots of women getting late BFPs so wondering if I'm still in and should be careful?! So annoying I can't get a BFP or af to show to confirm one way or the other right now. What would you do?

Advice gratefully received.

Nothing transfers to any potential foetus at such an early stage, have a drink! I had half a bottle of prosecco at 10dpo (BFN) then got my BFP at 12dpo and have a perfect, bright 2.5yo DD now!

I'd say it's safe to drink as there's no placenta that early to pass alcohol to the fetus anyway and you may not actually be pregnant so id say enjoy yourself until you defo are pregnant x

Have a drink or two but not the bottle. I'm a doctor and also TTC. The risk at this stage is more of causing an early MC with excess alcohol if you have conceived. There's no placenta for it to transfer through so no worries there!
