Wierd line on pregnancy test

Hi ladies, been having loads of pregnancy symptoms for about 3 weeks now, i has a lot of water yesterday and did wake up for a wee in early hours, I did this test this afternoon with my second wee Of the day and didn’t have any fluids today to make sure it was concentrated I held in for 3 hours, when I put it down that mini line appeared and I walked away thinking yep that’s going to be a positive just like I thought, so got the test and that’s the result and I’m so confused never seen that before on a pregnancy test has anyone else had this before ? I’m going to take another tmoro morning with first morning wee but just wondered if anyone had any thoughts or advice or if this has happened to you before, thank you x

Hi @CandyApple1995 thankyou for your reply. I have never seen this before either so strange! I had a wee early hours of this morning then I had one at ten this morning and then I held my wee for 3 hours no fluids took the test and this is how it’s showed up! I’m hoping someone can give me some advice or if it’s happened to them before lol I’ve had alsorts going on , blue prominent veins throughout body, heightened sense of smell, exhaustion, just feeling weird in general also came down with a cold which was weird the list goes on keep burping all the time belly feels full and bloated a lot it’s all going on at the moment! Will keep you updated hun it’s a weird one lol x

I wouldn't take that to be positive. All you can do is do another test. Good luck!

Yes I have another test :) it’s weird because like I say that little line appeared straight away so I walked away thinking it was going to turn positive, I have just read on the internet that an evap line only happens after the 5 minutes but this came up straight away oh I don’t know ladies I will have to test again!!

I wouldn't take that test as a positive.
I would definitely retest.

Take another test! That one is faulty.

I see, take another in morning, either it's just completely faulty or it's faulty but was picking up hcg but didn't quite develop properly

It looks like an indent and has no colour it's not even a line. Test again but I wouldn't get my hopes up. But good luck. X

Look at the to me would suggest that the strip inside the test which detects hcg is faulty but the part that isn’t has detected the hormone and hence it has changed colour. I don’t know this for sure obviously but it seems like the logical conclusion. All that being said I would test again for hopefully a more illuminating result.

update* got a negative the next morning but got a very short light period that started Saturday for 2 days and it has now stopped so not sure what is going on I’m usually a very heavy flow for 4 days so will be testing again so confused!!
