Sorry for tmi picture but what type of cm would you say this is?

I'm 4dpo, it has a yellow tinge.. stretchy but not egg white.

I got the same yesterday, also 4dpo - i interpreted that as milky/lotiony/creamy. Although mine wasn't stretchy.

Amy5665 · 24/02/2020 22:29

Same here, 4dpo And I always have it a few days after ovulation.Mine it's definitely creamy...using ovia app and I choose creamy/sticky (school glue) type.

EssJayyCee · 24/02/2020 22:33

@Moreinfopls @Amy5665 Thanks ladies 😊
I record everything on the fertility friend app and the choices are dry, sticky, creamy, watery and egg white. I never know how to judge it!
I've put sticky.

How are you both finding your 2ww?

@EssJayyCee SLOW!!!!😂 no symptoms of course as it's still very early, currently eating some pineapple, have also some walnuts and pomegranate...this cycle wanted to eat more healthy and try everything that seems to help implantation. But who knows...
Testing day feels so far away😞
How are you feeling?

EssJayyCee · 25/02/2020 13:10

@Amy5665 It's slow for me too! I need to stop thinking about it really. I feel like I'm already out this cycle anyway! I've had 20months of no luck (bar one which ended in MC) so why would this cycle be any different?

Yeah no symptoms for me either really apart from sore nipples and a bit of breathlessness but like you say it's too early to be pregnancy related.

The TWW is cruel isnt it...
I have no symptoms except for having cold/flu since ovulation day...
I am charting bbt and writing down cm observations properly for the first time, so that scientific aspect of 'collecting the data' keeps me sane for now :) although i know it's best to see the chart across few cycles, to see the patterns etc.

This has been useful - it's from the book Taking charge of your fertility

@EssJayyCee think positive 🙏🏻 it will happen very soon. All off my friends who have kids said it happened first or second time and some of them said it wasn't even planned.I have recently found out about a friend who needed treatment although she said her baby was born unplanned. So I m sure many people prefer to say this instead of explaining the hard work they needed to archive that.I m assuming you went to the gp already, if not you might consider.Have faith in your body!sending baby dust

@Moreinfopls that's very helpful info x
So...4dpo is still high fertility?? I m still having this today as well but Other info says is very difficult for sperm to swim through this type of cm which is confusing for me...

Moreinfopls · 25/02/2020 18:56

I think the creamy cm is more fertile than sticky, but also it's more fertile before ovulation (because the eggs doesn't wait around).
I've also read that some women experience no cm between ovulation and period, but some women have some sort of 'wetness' throughout. Hence it's good to observe yourself for a few months, to see what's your 'normal'.

Funny fact...thinking to check Facebook to relax my mind and seeing this...priceless

@Amy5665 Yes, I have been to first fertility appointment with the Gynae but I fell pregnant right before being prescribed medication to help. But miscarried in January. We now have to try naturally again for 6 months before being prescribed anything. Which will be just over two years trying by then. It's been a long long journey.

OP posts:
EssJayyCee · 25/02/2020 20:43

That made it sound like I'd only had one appointment. I've had three now.

Amy5665 · 25/02/2020 20:48

@EssJayyCee sorry to hear that...it's just so unfair this wait, I wish they could allow us to be checked after a couple of months instead of 6 or 1 year.It makes you work hard and be really stressed when you could easily find out what is going on and have a prescription in this time...but unfortunately there is nothing you can do.Fingers crossed!

EssJayyCee · 27/02/2020 10:46

@Amy5665 The waiting is the hardest part of the whole journey!

I've been tracking my BBT and my temps have been all over the place so now I'm not even convinced I ovulated.

How are you getting on with your TWW? xx

Amy5665 · 27/02/2020 21:13

@EssJayyCee Today I woke up with flu symptoms (coughing and running nose )7dpo and as my Ovia app says "you never know what might be early sign of pregnancy, even if it is just a cold" but still think it's very early...nothing else except of this. When are you testing?

EssJayyCee · 27/02/2020 21:25

@Amy5665 It could be early signs fingers crossed for you.

I have been super emotional today.. like, I had a mega breakdown on the phone to my Fiancé and so I stupidly POAS expecting a negative... and I swear there is a super faint line!

I made a line eyes post and I have had mixed opinions on it...
I know it is very very very faint but I'm sure something is there!

I am sure I am only 7dpo as well so it is extremely early so if I test tomorrow it will probably confirm my thoughts of it just being an evap line.

What do you think? Bare with it, it is a massive squinter!

I see something very very faint in the second photo, definitely try again in the next days it should progress.Good luck! ❤️

EssJayyCee · 27/02/2020 21:44

@Amy5665 Thank you! My fingers are crossed but I honestly think it is just going to turn out to be an evap!

I will keep you updated though!

When do you think you will test?

OP posts:
Amy5665 · 27/02/2020 21:52

@EssJayyCee you should try with a FRER they are more sensitive.
Seeing this makes me wanna test as well😄buuuuut...I've decided to test on the day my Af is due(5th ) only because it's my birthday and hoping for a positive present, if not...well at least I will get drunk on my bday😄

EssJayyCee · 27/02/2020 21:58

@Amy5665 Yea they are much better but I don't want to spend loads on a test if it is just an evap. I think I will give it a day or so and re-test with a cheapie before going for an FRER.
I wasn't meant to test until the 6th!
I just couldn't wait obviously 🤣
