HHello everyone - looking for some March friends to go through the dreaded TWW with 😁 DPO -3, AF due March 11.

Been on another thread for 4 cycles now but everyone on there seems to have gotten a BFP now apart from me 🤷🏽‍♀️ Hoping that we can support each other through this cycle and continue to do so for us that get BFNs and need to keep positive for each other.

Little bit about me - 36, 1 DS 15, TTC second child with partner, cycle 5, 1 early MC last cycle, 1 anovulation cycle in December - hoping this will be our month 💪🏼😍

How many dpo are u? I’m getting shooting pains around my ovaries and down below ... dunno what to make of it

Sharlo53 · 28/02/2020 19:08

2/3, supposedly! It's ridiculously early!

LV1987 · 28/02/2020 19:08

@2020wish that sounds very similar to how I've been feeling this afternoon, I'm 7dpo

HallowsandHorcruxes · 28/02/2020 19:28

Hello ! Can I join please?
31 and TTC #1 and don't think I even want to say what cycle I'm on, 18 or 19? Blush Had an ectopic in Dec 2018.

Like @2020wish I've been following SMEP, I definitely feel better, mentally, thinking that I've done everything on my part and not missed any opportunities.

3dpo for me with af due 12th March - got to keep my fingers crossed that it's this time Smile

MamaPixie · 28/02/2020 19:51

@LV1987 that's a good sign that your cycles are starting to regulate and become shorter after the pill - when is the hen weekend? Next weekend? Crossing everything 😊 so glad you managed to catch your ovulation!

@HallowsandHorcruxes hang in there 😘 it must be horrible having to go through the same thing month after month - I can't even imagine what it must be like to go through an ectopic - I'm so sorry 😔 I think that's so important - have you read The Impatient Woman's guide to getting pregnant? I found it really useful - it reiterates what you've just mentioned about doing all you can to improve your chances and look at it rather as "I've done all I can to get pregnant this cycle" rather than "I've not gotten pregnant this cycle" Good luck for this month - crossing everything for you xx

@Lola871 we've had a couple of 5am starts and with a teenager in the house it hasn't been easy 😂 Ovulated a day later so realistically I'll be testing on the 12th (probably 10th 🙈) feeling a lot more optimistic this cycle!

HallowsandHorcruxes · 28/02/2020 20:34

Thanks @MamaPixie 😊 I haven't heard of that book, I'll definitely need to go and look it up.
Fingers crossed for everyone this cycle 🤞🏻

LV1987 · 29/02/2020 14:32

Thanks @MamaPixie hen do is the 7th...AF due 6th or 7th, so hopefully I will know either way by then! Fingers crossed for declining wine at dinner 🤞🍷

Orangepeel105 · 29/02/2020 18:06

Hi all! I'm joining the March bus, also due on on the 11th. I'm 34 and my partner is 40 and this is our second month of TTC. I had a bit of a meltdown about it all on Friday, I didn't realise how quickly it can get frustrating trying to have sex at the right times etc.! Feeling a bit more relaxed about it now, fingers crossed for us all!

Pink15 · 29/02/2020 18:55

@Orangepeel105 Welcome! I totally know what you mean about feeling frustrated but glad you're feeling more relaxed! I try and reassure myself that a lot of people get pregnant by 'accident' so not sure how much evidence all this over thinking and planning does .... doesn't mean I won't stop though haha

Orangepeel105 · 29/02/2020 20:20

@Pink15 exactly! Think I'm just ready to accept it could take a while and try to focus on other enjoyable things in life! It's just difficult though with the reminder of taking the vitamins every day and not drinking etc. and being unsure of plans over the next few months! Lots of uncertainty but my strategy is to try to keep focusing on the nice day to day things instead of worrying about the bigger picture.

Pink15 · 29/02/2020 22:10

@Orangepeel105 sounds like a good plan :) just take each day as it comes! It's hard to stop thinking about future months though like should I book that holiday etc!!

MamaPixie · 04/03/2020 12:54

How are all of you ladies doing? I'm trying not to symptom spot 🙈 I started a new job yesterday so am feeling secretly guilty of hoping for that BFP on the 11th 🙈 I was so worried about applying for a job while already pregnant - thankfully my body took care of that 🙄😂

OP posts:
HallowsandHorcruxes · 04/03/2020 13:45

Aw I'm due to start a new job on Monday too 😂

Iv definitely been symptom spotting!

Iv had a bit of red/brown spotting yesterday and the day before which was 5/6dpo for me, had cramping low down as well pretty much constantly... up until today, no sign of anything today 🙈

Will start testing with the IC's at the weekend which will be 10/11dpo by then, not getting my hopes up yet though🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

kerry842 · 04/03/2020 13:46

Hello I'm due my af on Friday. I had a missed miscarriage in July and have been trying ever since took ages for my periods to come back.i have been having lots of cramp symptoms which last time ignored cause just thought it was normal but now I'm wondering was is connected to mis carriage or does any else get bad cramps I don't get cramps with my normal period so I do feel pregnant but just concerned about cramping.

HallowsandHorcruxes · 04/03/2020 14:15

Hi @kerry842,

My cycles changed after my ectopic, they're now slightly longer and iv noticed cramping in the lead up to af.

I can tell the difference though, I think, as when I was pregnant the cramping was lower down compared to normal period cramping?

Not sure if that helps any but things didn't go back to the way they were before in my case anyway

MamaPixie · 04/03/2020 14:30

@HallowsandHorcruxes eek hehe good luck 🙈 I'm so worried that they'll get me on "something" during my probation after I've told them I'm pregnant (if I get pregnant) definitely won't tell them until the very last minute 😂

That does sound promising! Crossing fingers for you - the next two days are going to drag! What's an IC? Sorry for being daft haha!

2020wish · 04/03/2020 15:05

9dpo today... when are u other ladies trying a frer?

2020wish · 04/03/2020 15:06

Back storey- I’m in middle of living house so I am currently doing a lot of glossing and repainting and heavy lifting... so dunno whether to test early or wait til af due on the 10th/11th or would glossing and heavy lifting not really have much of an impact this early on?

2020wish · 04/03/2020 15:07

Edit - story, moving house

HallowsandHorcruxes · 04/03/2020 15:15

@MamaPixie aw I'm sure they won't Smile I won't have a probation luckily as although it's a different company they are part of the same group if you know what I mean?

Oh sorry, I was meaning an internet cheapie! Just the cheap pregnancy test sticks I get from amazon. Means I don't end up spending a fortune every month on tests 🙈

FlamingoG88 · 04/03/2020 15:36

Hello, can I join please?

AF due on Friday the 13th 🙄 regular cycles, usually 28 days.

I'm 31 TTC#1 with my husband, currently in the middle of cycle 4.

I didn't realise how emotional TTC would be.

Orangepeel105 · 04/03/2020 19:23

@FlamingoG88 welcome! It is a really emotional and at times difficult experience, isn't it? Today I burst into tears when I got home from work, I think I'm so fed up of work and ready to go on maternity leave, the putting life on hold and waiting aspect is really hard. Then there's the 'not knowing' aspect and seeing everything as a possibly pregnancy symptom! How are you feeling?

FlamingoG88 · 04/03/2020 22:10

@Orangepeel105

Oh no, I hope you've managed to relax a bit this evening and forget about work a little.

The place I work in is female dominant and so there's always someone announcing a pregnancy, a never ending list.

I have 0 symptoms but trying not to think about that too much. I like being able to chat with other women who are going through the same thing, it's not a topic you can just chat about with anyone is it 😔

Mumlife1 · 04/03/2020 22:25

Hi ladies! Hope it's okay if I join :) AF due on the 11th of March (36 day cycle 😩) expected ov around the 27th of feb, having lots of symptoms out of the norm for me so fingers crossed ! Sending good luck to you all too 😀
