Confused by my cycle

I have 28-30 day cycles typically, and I usually get a strong OPK on day 18/19. It worries me that I don't have a long enough luteal phase - although I have had bloods done and the fertility clinic don't seem to have any concerns. Anyway, come CD 20/21 my boobs are agony every month and that disappears when AF shows her ugly face. I've read that having sore boobs/PMS symptoms immediately after ov, suggests there isn't enough hormone for a viable pregnancy, even if fertilisation occurred.

Currently day 22, sore boobs, and feel like every month I'm out before implantation could even occur.

Just a vent really... I'm waiting on my next appointment anyway so will raise it then.

X

I have 28 day cycles and get my peak OPK either CD 11 or 12. Yours does seem quite late but I'm no expert just comparing to mine x

Are you temping as well? It can be helpful to cross reference with OPKs, especially if something seems off

wannabebump · 22/02/2020 11:01

I'm not temping... I don't want to put anymore pressure on myself to be honest, it's already on my mind 24/7.

@wannabebump how long have you been trying? Have you seen a doctor?

wannabebump · 22/02/2020 17:10

@marshallrubblechaserockyzoomer yeh, mentioned it in the original post 🙃

I think they say you need a 10 day luteal phase ideally (or longer). However there's people on here getting BFP before that so as long as it implants before- it has a chance?

As for sore boobs- so do I. I bet if you put a post up asking how common it is, loads of people will say they do and have got pregnant before?

If bloods and fertility clinic say it's ok then I would try to settle yourself that it is. I get sore boobs and cramps most cycles from about 6DPO and have a 4 year old dd. X

@wannabebump how long have you been trying?
